"Ready to go Emma" Randy asked.
"Yup" I replied.
"Remember you will get payed $20 an hour just for you ideas. Don't forget about that. the music thing is fun but risky. Plus no money in that according to the email. So this is a good thing and don't forget that. Say hi to Mr. Rondell with a big smile. Remember to use your manners too ok?" Rosa said. I really disliked how my parents talked to me like I was 5. It was my mom's way of saying goodbye to me I guess. I did not reply. I was busy thinking about what my mother had just said. I was getting payed at the programming thing. I did not know what to say. But I knew that I already made a commitment to Mr. White. I was snapped out of her thoughts.
"Honey, come on you need to leave now if you want to make it by sundown." Randy said.
"Um.... What? Wait okay I am going. Bye mom. Bye dad." I said returning to reality. We said our goodbye and hugged a little. After all, my life starts now. It was a 2 hour drive from my house to Hollywood. Since, I could drive, I was taking my van that I got for my 18th birthday. When I got to Hollywood, I knew that I had a hotel that was already payed for. Funny thing was that both people, Mr. White and Mr. Rondell, chose the same hotel and the same room. I checked in saying that I was going to meet with both men, so that there won't be any confusion.
