"Chance Encounter": Love Doctor to the Rescue

Chapter 5 - A French connection

"Wh... what do you do?" he asks politely, trying to brush off his awkwardness from the encounter you just had. At least the ice has been broken. Or more like melted- you feel like there are a hundred butterflies rising in your chest and you can't take your eyes off this friendly, unassuming man.

"I'm studying to be a chemist", you say. "Right now I'm working with physicists who are studying the likelihood that the cause of unusual radiation headed towards earth is the result of carbon c60, or"...

"Buckyballs!" he exclaims, finishing your sentence for you.

"Y... Yes", you laugh, surprised that he cares in the slightest what you're saying. But it makes you smile all the more.

"I have 3 PhD's and 2 bachelors, and one of them is in chemistry", he sheepishly admits, as if he should be embarrassed by this fact.

"Oh, that's so cool!" You continue and finish off telling him about your research grant proposal, focusing in part on the excitement you have in your work but increasingly also in part by his soft looking, delicate lips and unassuming green eyes. You make another decision.

"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot, what did you say your name was again?"

Of course, he is awkward and continues to take you literally, starting to answer the question.

"It's Sp..."

You lean forward again and kiss him, softly, on the lips. He makes the smallest hint of a sigh... you can barely make it out in the noisy room, but all the shouting and laughing around you pales to nothing in comparison to the feeling of attraction you feel towards Spencer. Clearly he feels the connection strongly too.

"I've... never done something like this before." he whispers as you pull away from him, putting one of your hands on his thigh and feeling the soft fabric of the very sexy, clean cut outfit he has on. You feel an overwhelming sense of affection. He's a stranger, but it's like you have known him before.

"Do you like it?" you whisper back.

He nods, closes his eyes and returns your kiss. His lips are soft, and very warm. You put the tip of your tongue into his mouth and feel his meet you. You squeeze his leg a little and move closer to his body.
