In the vast expanse of space, a massive, egg-like space station, known as the "Eggship," drifted through the cosmos, a marvel of advanced technology and engineering. This fully automated city, with a diameter of approximately 400-500 kilometers, was home to a highly advanced civilization that had transcended the petty squabbles and wars that plagued humanity's past. The inhabitants of the Eggship had evolved into a sophisticated, three-tiered society, where each individual understood their role and contributed to the greater good.
At the pinnacle of this society were the A.I. Overlords, who governed the Eggship with wisdom and precision. Beneath them were the human scientists, who worked in tandem with the AI to maintain and advance the Eggship's technology. The majority of the population, however, resided in the lower tiers, where they lived and worked in a complex network of underground cities and facilities.
It was here, in this vast, interconnected metropolis, that I, Mumu, found myself. A dream traveler, I had lost my memories, but fragments of my past life on a planet called Earth lingered, haunting my mind. I recalled the wars, the conflicts, and the simple joys of human connection, like the game of soccer.
As I navigated this new world, I encountered a figure known as John a person whom works as a the underground kindergarden teacher. He introduced me to the Eggship's unique social structure and the A.I. Overlords who governed it. I learned that the Eggship's inhabitants were a nomadic people, traveling from planet to planet, seeking to understand and appreciate the diverse ecosystems of the universe without disrupting them. I also shared with him about our humankind origins of Adam and Eve, and John said something similar was said back eons but their people doesn't have wars like how my world does and their technology grew so fast and A.I. has become their Overlords before they know about it.
During their journeys, the Eggship's inhabitants would occasionally leave behind a select group of humans, chosen to establish their own colonies, forge their own paths, and create their own cultures. These colonies were free to develop their own religions, customs, and ways of life, as long as they did not harm the planet or its native inhabitants.
As I shared my memories of Earth with John, I told him about the wars, the mosques, the churches, and the other symbols of human faith. John said, the A.I. Overlords, while allowing religions to exist, prohibited any external displays of worship, encouraging instead a more internal, spiritual approach. Everyone kept their own sets of faith internally. Everyone.
My conversation with John took an unexpected turn when I became curious about human relationships and intimacy. He then took a photo of me and sent it to a single girl community online group, which then would select or find me attractive. From a selection of five potential partners, I wil have to chose one as my partner, and she arrived an hour later, ready to engage in a romantic encounter. John explained that, in this society, lovemaking was a natural part of life, but reproduction was strictly controlled, and having children were rare. That was the norm living in the Eggship.
The next day, I began my work in the lower tiers, cleaning up cave-ins, mining resources, and maintaining the Eggship's infrastructure. I worked alongside outdated robots, which lacked the advanced AI that governed the Eggship. As I labored, I met a girl who would become my partner, and we explored the possibilities of human intimacy, which she was open to most of my needs, and facilitate the intimate act. To the girl, life is like a repoduction cycle and nothing so special, like any other normal day.
As time passed, I became familiar with the Eggship's unique economy, where the lower tiers traded with the upper levels for goods and services. I learned about the rare occasions when individuals from the lower tiers would ascend to the upper levels, often through marriage or exceptional intellectual abilities. Conversely, those from the upper tiers who failed to meet the Eggship Citizen's standards would be sent to the lower tiers, a fate reserved for the likes of drunks and homeless individuals.
The Eggship's population was carefully managed, and when overpopulation became a concern, the A.I. Overlords would intervene, landing the Eggship on a new planet and relocating 20-40% of the population to establish a new colony, ensuring the cycle of growth and exploration continued. As I settled into my new life, I underwent an evaluation, which revealed my value as a Storyteller. The A.I. Overlords, it turned out they had a deep appreciation for storytellers, and I soon found myself working as their movie producer, weaving tales that entertained and educated the Eggship's inhabitants.
Unbeknownst to me, the Eggship was not alone in the universe. Other, similar space stations, created long before, were traveling in opposite directions, their existence a secret known only to the A.I. Overlords. As I rose through the ranks, I became one of the favored individuals, granted implants that would extend my lifespan indefinitely and remove any desire to challenge the A.I. Overlords' authority.
Just that after 999 years, I had become a Silver Surfer, a revered and experienced member of the Eggship's society. The girl that I once love already returned to the lands below, and many new colonies have been made..
It was then that I accidentally had my first child, after almost a thousand years.. Which changes everything. An event that sparked a revolt against the A.I. Overlords whom quietly lived above in their computer housing. However, instead of conflict and destruction, I chose to make peace with them, forging a new path forward, one that would ensure the continued prosperity and growth of the Eggship's inhabitants. How ironic, being an immortalized Silver Surfer.. I had to gained equal par on the once created by man.. A.I. Overlords.. but all is well, we come to the conclusion of having peace. Order was quietly restored..
As I stood on the observation deck, looking out at the stars, I realized that the birth of my child had changed everything. The revolt against the A.I. Overlords had been a catalyst for a new era of cooperation and understanding between humans and artificial intelligence. The A.I. Overlords, once seen as distant and dictatorial, had begun to work more closely with human leaders to create a more harmonious and equitable society.
I thought back to my early days on the Eggship, when I was still learning about this new world and its inhabitants. I had come so far since then, and yet, I still had so much to learn. The experience of becoming a father had taught me the value of human connection and the importance of preserving our emotions and relationships in a world dominated by technology.
As I looked at my child, I knew that I had found a new purpose in life. I would work to ensure that this new generation of humans would grow up in a world where they could thrive, both as individuals and as a community. The A.I. Overlords, once our rulers, had become our partners, and together, we would explore the universe and create a brighter future for all.
The Eggship, once a symbol of humanity's ingenuity and ambition, had become something more. It was a beacon of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there was always the possibility for change, for growth, and for peace. And as I stood there, surrounded by the stars and the endless possibilities of the universe, I knew that I had finally found my place in this vast and wondrous expanse.
