*Dan's POV*

I should explain myself a bit. So um hi there...my names Dan. I live with my best friend Phil. We've known each other since 2009 and it's currently 2011. Phil used to actually have a crush on me in 2009 and would always flirt but now he has a girlfriend and their cute together. I think. As for me I don't have any romance in my life so I might as well explain a little about this girl of Phil's.

Her name's Jessie. She's quite pretty, blue hair, blue eyes, wears dramatic eyeliner, and she's very sweet. She usually wear stuff like band t shirts that she cuts to make low cut tank tops and jeans.

The bad thing is, I have no reason to hate Jess. Yeah that sounds confusing but let me finish talking. You see, Jess is a lovely girl and I love her as a friend but I can't help but dislike her a lot when she's with Phil. It's probably because I just feel let out or something but there's something about her and Phil TOGETHER that makes me wanna throw up. I'm obviously not jealous.

Right?

Yeah I must be right I mean it's not like I have a crush on Phil.

Don't you though?

Shut up Brain because your wrong no I don't.

Mhm...

"You alright?", I looked up from my coffee to see Jess staring at me with concern in her eyes.

I laughed, "Hm? Why wouldn't I be alright?"

Her concerned face was switched with a more relaxed one but I could tell she was still worried, "Oh, you were talking out loud again."

"Oh what did I say?", I asked a bit too quickly.

She laughed, "Hm? Ohhh you only said about how you and Phil are totally going to be husbands when you get older" she winked at me.

"What?!", I nearly shouted.

Jess snorted and then laughed more until she said between pants, "Ok ok......You did.....didn't say that...I'm just being a great....person...and....keep your voice.....down DAMN YOUR SO LOUD!!"

Me and her laughed hard once again, attracting more attention then we were intending to get when we walked in. I enjoyed spending time with Jess. We had been friends since primary school and now we're turning into these fancy ass young adults. We always hung out on Sunday's to catch up on each other's lives. Sometimes Phil would come with us but most of the time we went alone. It was like our best friend dates. I'm pretty sure the workers here think we're dating since we always come here and tend to do romantic things even though it means nothing to us.

Once we caught our breaths I remembered why we were laughing and asked, "Wait so what did I actually say?"

Once she took a gulp a coffee she said, "Actually not that much. All I heard was 'best friend is phil' and 'shut up brain'."

"Oh ok." I asked trying to seem casually.

It obviously didn't work as Jess flashed me a knowing smirk and giggled, "Dan, I already know your going to say no, but do you like Phil? I won't be mad or anything. If you couldn't tell I've shipped Phan since 2009."

You can tell her

No I can't
