Eleanor's Confession

One day passed. One day of crying. One day of loneliness. One day without them. It’s only been one day. How am I going to last two months? I sat up in my bed and sighed. I glanced at the clock to see that it was ten in the morning. They left four hours ago. Yesterday was amazing, until I had to say goodbye. I threw off the covers and walked over to my phone. I had six text messages. I unlocked my phone and glanced at them. One message from each of the boys then one message from Eleanor. I glanced at the boys’ first.

“We miss you!” Niall wrote.

“We’ll be back before you know it,” Zayn wrote.

“Wish you were with us,” Liam wrote. I replied to theirs first before I got to Louis’ and Harry’s. I finally opened Louis’.

“Julie. The boys and I miss you like crazy. I know you’re upset but we’ll be back soon, I promise. Love you Jules. See you soon,” he wrote.

“Lou I love you and miss you like crazy. I’ll see you the minute you get back,” I wrote back. I opened Harry’s.

“Julie. Julie, Julie, Julie. No one knows how much I miss you! I wish you were with us on tour. Can’t wait to see you when we get back xx,” he wrote. My heart melted and I smiled.

“Haz! I miss you sooo much! Can’t wait to see you too xx,” I wrote back. I exited out and opened Eleanor’s message.

“Hey Julie! Want to hang at noon?” she wrote.

“Sure! Come to my house,” I wrote.

“Okay be there soon,” she wrote. I locked my phone and got changed into a sweater and jeans. I put my hair into a side braid and put on makeup. I grabbed my phone and stared at my lock screen. Gosh I miss them already. My doorbell rang and I ran downstairs. I opened the door and froze.

“El?” I asked. Eleanor turned around and ran into the house. I shut the door and stared at her.

“Julie,” she whispered as she hugged me tightly. I felt her body start to shake and I could tell that she’s been crying.

“El are you okay?” I asked. She started to calm down and I led her into the den. She sat down and took a tissue. Her hair was a mess, her eyes were red and puffy, and she looked tired.

“No I’m not,” she said sniffling.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“I miss Louis so much,” she said looking down.

“I do to,” I said glancing out the window.

“But not in the same way!” she said. I looked at her to see tears in her eyes.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“I’m in love with Louis,” she said as tears streamed down her face.

“What?” I asked as my mouth dropped.

“And I didn’t get to tell him before he left,” she said as she buried her face in her hands. I hugged her close as she cried. I felt bad. She knows I love Louis like a brother, but she literally loves him. Like loves him as a boyfriend. I pulled back and wiped her eyes with the tissue.

“They’ll be back soon,” I said.

“I know but two months seems like a long time,” she said. I nodded.

“I know,” I said.

“I have to go,” she said randomly standing up.

“Okay. Call me if you need anything,” I said as I walked her out. She nodded and gave me a hug.

“Sorry if I was random,” she said almost laughing.

“I needed to tell someone how I felt about Louis,” she said.

“I totally understand,” I said.

“I can’t wait to tell him when he gets back,” she said smiling. I gave her another hug and walked her out. I shut the door and heard my ringtone go off. Someone was requesting to FaceTime me. I accepted and saw Louis’ face appear. I screamed and started laughing.

“Lou!” I screamed as he started to laugh.

“Jules!” he fake screamed. I laughed as I grabbed my phone and layed down on my bed.

“Where are you? How are you?” I asked really quickly.

“Bradford and I’m fine,” he said smiling.

“Good,” I said smiling back.

“Do you like your wallpaper on your phone?” he asked.

“I love it thank you,” I said.

“Good I’m glad,” he said.

“Who are you talking to?” someone asked.

“Julie,” Louis responded back. The camera shook and Harry appeared.

“Haz!” I laughed.

“Hey Jules!” he said smiling.

“What’s up?” I asked.

“Not much. We just arrived in the hotel,” Harry said.

“Awesome,” I said.

“We really miss you,” Louis said.

“I really miss you,” Harry added. My heart just melted.

“Aw I miss you guys too,” I said. Harry and Louis looked at each other and smiled.

“Go to bed!” someone screamed. It sounded like Zayn.

“Okay,” they responded.

“See you soon,” I said.

“See you soon,” they responded. I waved and I hit goodbye. I sighed and layed back in my bed. Two months until they come back. Two months….

~One month later~

One month. One more month until they come back. I circled the day they would be coming back on my calendar and smiled as I sat back. My phone chimed and I saw a twitter message, from Sydney, the girl at the park.

“Hey!” she wrote. I smiled, remembering her from the park.

“Hey what’s up?” I asked.

“Nm,” she wrote back. I hesitated, thinking about something I want to ask her. I’ve wanted to ask her this for some time now. I typed away my question and hit send.

"Can we meet in the park tomorrow at noon? I want to hang with you,” I said. Sydney took her time. About three minutes later, she finally responded.

“See you tomorrow at noon :)”
