I had banged on the glass doors for ages, trying to break into the restaurant to get back to the boys. I couldn't leave them. I promised I would get them back to their parents, that I could help them. That I would save Chuck for them. But I can't help them. I can't save them.
I whacked the door so hard that with each blow my knuckles bled more and more. A hand was put on my shoulder as I punched, so I stopped and looked at my brother.
"Jeremy, there's nothing we can do..." he said. I knew he was right. If I knew the animatronics the way I do, Springtrap has already got Eric and Guy. I felt on the verge of crying, and Jacob saw it.
"It's all my fault..." I barely said. Jacob didn't say anything, his stare just gently persuaded me to go on. "If I didn't stop the Mangle from biting me, Vincent and the day guard wouldn't have gone to their plan B and trap everyone in the pizzeria. Vincent wouldn't of shot Courtney, and Eric, Chuck and Guy wouldn't have their parents kidnapped. And he wouldn't of activated Springtrap, so Chuck wouldn't be taken away as well. Now this. If I had got bitten by that fox... things would be better..."
"Don't say that Jeremy," Jacob said. "If you were gone, Vincent would have got away with what he planned to do. If you were gone, our whole family would be distraught. Mum would cry everyday, Dad would never talk again, even Courtney would never srop being herself. And I... I would not be able to live with myself. I couldn't live knowing that my only brother was dead. The brother who faced mortal peril just to get money for a car. If you were gone... I would want not to exist. Because I would never want to exist in a world that does not have my little brother by my side."
He was crying now, as was I. As we embraced, I heard a small noise. I at first thought I imagined it, but I then heard it again. Jacob heard it too and let me go, me racing over to the doors. If I was able look on the right angle, I was able to look through the glass doors and through a crack made by the metal one, a sliver of the Dining Area in view. I was able to see a golden figure run back and forth past the sliver. The small noises I heard before could be made out as voices. I realised what was happening. They were tricking Springtrap to go wherever the want by yelling, or in this case, make him run back and forth! Smart kids.
"What is it Jeremy?" Jacob asked.
"They got it! They're on top of it! They'll be fine!" I said in high spirits. If they could keep that up until we free Golden Freddy and Vincent's hostages, we'll all be good.
We got into the car as quick as we could as I looked at the number on the key. Locker Room 666. If that wasn't a creepy coincidence I don't know what was! I started the car and raced down down the road. The locker wasn't very hard to find and was only a few minutes away. As soon as we got there, I got out the car and searched for the locker. It wasn't very hard to find but took a good five minutes to run to down it. I slid the key into the lock and was about to turn it until Jacob stopped me once again.
"You don't know what could be in there.." he warned.
"I know exactly who's in there... and who. And I'm prepared to confront him," I said.
"Okay... but I'm going with you, if you fall or not. Okay?" Jacob said. I nodded, turning back to the locker and, taking a deep breath, turned the key, the lock sliding off and clanking to the ground.
The locker door creaked open, and I got my flashlight out, which I had almost forgot sat at my hip attached to my belt. The flashlight's beam penetrated through the darkness, hitting a wall and illuminating what sat it's corner. And that was the Golden Freddy.
It's yellow, limp form gave of the horrific stench of a decomposing body. It seemed to not have been used in a while, but it wasn't too old. It seemed it might of been used around five years ago, which wasn't a lot of time, but enough time to be forgotten. It's hat and bow looked blue at first, but I realised that that was the cause of light dust, which would get heavier in later years, and that their colour was actually indigo purple. I scanned around the rest of the locker room and realised something. There was someone who was missing from the scene.
