The Dream is Told

Chapter 4

      "So what now?" Steven asks.

      I just stand there. Now that I am the crystal I really want to talk Percy. I have to tell him about a dream I have been having anyways.

      One thing that everyone needs to know is that my dreams are so crazy that if the sentence 'I had a dream' escapes my mouth, my friends will yell, 'no stop right there do not continue that sentence'. Also my friends and I are so close that what makes no scence to a normal person makes sense to us.

      This dream however was different from the ones I usually experience.

       "Why don't we go visit the Roman camp during the first chapter of the third Hero's of Olympus book," I suggest "I really want to tell Percy and Annabeth what had happened and we'll get to go and annoy a certain Roman"

      To outer people and even a few of my friends will not understand this sentence, so I guess I have to explain.

      In the Heroes of Olympus series one of the Roman campers names is Octivian. To me he is really annoying, and ever since I showed up he has been trying to get rid of me. Now that I'm the Crystal though I want to try out a few things.

      I read a lot, and because of this I guess I already gained some powers from many different worlds. No one exactly told me these powers have already become active, I can just sense it.

      So I focus in the daut (a parallel dimension in Egyptian mythological that I learned about from the Kane series) and pulled the exact book I need.

      "Here," I say pointing to the exact part in the book "this is the were Annabeth flips Percy after finally finding him. So why not go there and give them a double surprise of Percy being found and me gaining the title of the Crystal."

       "That actually sound like a great idea, so long as I get to chose how we get there." Smirks Joseph

      All the girls glance at me with worried eyes but I really want to go and I know the only way we can is if Joseph takes care of the transportation

      "Fine," I sigh, "but we will be in New Rome and I do not know if they will detect out powers as weapons, so everyone has to find a way to not touch the ground or pray we don't create a huge fiasco."

    "What ever let's go"

      I just roll my eyes and the next thing I see is Percy on the floor and the unmistakable voice of Annebeth saying "if you ever leave me again I will kill you seaweedbrain."

"Fine by me but your gonna have to let me help seeing as he is my half brother!" I shout cupping my hands around my mouth.

      Everyone turns towards us. I know this didn't happen in the book, but the thing is we aren't allowed to go into that exact dimension of these stories. The dimensions we do enter are ones that we can tamper with. They only follow the basic guide lines of the said plot, but we get some input  on what happens as well.

      "Mac!?" Percy says his words muffled because his face is still being shoved into the ground by Annabeth.

      "No it's Zues." I say, sarcasm leaking out if my voice as thunder rumbles in the background. I just roll my eyes at the childish actions of drama queen's threat. He should really become the god of drama as well so all these nicknames at least match his title.

      Percy and Annabeth run to give me and the gang a hug. The moment would have been perfect, but before we could explain anything of course Octavian had to go and open his mouth.

     "How in Jupiter's name did this she devil get in here. She is a jinx and if they know her they must be part of her crazy plans."

      Everyone one laughs. Besides Octavian, the Romans have come to know and trust me. I just roll my eyes at him, but of coarse with Octavian he has to prove a point so he charges at me. A few people start to warn him as I just stand there until the last second. That's when I grab the tip of his sword, yank it backwards, and flip him over to finish it all off.

      Percy and I start laughing and we probably would have continued if it weren't for asking who we were. Seeing that he lost his memory, and Leo and Piper have never met me either, I knew I had a lot of explaining to do.

      "Why dont you explain over dinner." Reyna suggests.

      "But we want to go into the COD dimension" the guys complain.

      "Then go I'll meet you guys back at the main house in a few hours and we can decide were to go next."

      After that, the girls and I headed to the dining pavilion where we explain to the heroes what happened. Percy was happy for me and after three hours of talking and laughing I could sense the boys entering the main house and knew it was time to leave.

      Before I went though I had  to talk to Percy, alone. "Percy can I talk to you?"

      "Ya sure let's go outside its really loud in here." He shrugs and gets up "what's wrong?" He asks once we are out of earshot. He has this an unexplainable look on his face. I knew the look because I use it on him to when I know something's not right.

      "I've been having this dream," I begin " it is almost like when you began to dream about Kronos, but worse. I don't know what's happening, but the power this person or demon or whatever it is is bad."

      "Don't worry kid we have your back if anything does happen, just be careful." He sighs while rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

       "I hope to see you guys again soon. But we better get going" I say after walking in from our chat.

      "Bye!" Everyone there says, except Octavian of course.

      Victoria opens a sand storm portal and calls me over.

      I hug Annabeth and Percy one last time and hop through the portal just as if closed to find myself in the main house kitchen.
