To my dearest little bird,
'Are you well?' is be the question I am tempted to ask you, but I realize it will serve no purpose. You can no longer age, get sick, or be killed by another's hand. So I ask, how have you been doing? I, for one, am very well. The abyss is actually a beautiful place. Even more beautiful than our hometown, in fact. Even crystals and precious stones cannot win against the appeal of my new life.
It is very different over here. This town's title of an 'abyss' is certainly misleading. I expected to see a gloomy town which thrived only in the blackness of the night, with a cruel ruler and cruel people. However, what I was given was completely different. The town is bustling during the day, filled with lots of activity. Almost every day is like a festival. The people are kind. The town does indeed thrive in the night, but I quickly realized that was because of the unusual bright moon that appears. What a strange place to be exiled to.
You must be wondering, why am I referring a kingdom as a mere town? It is because the kingdom, as strange as it may sound, behaves like one
But that is enough about my new home. How about you? I know of your location, but I do not know the place you are at. Since you were lucky enough to escape the mass slaughter, I hope you the town, village, shack, camp or whatever you stay in is safe enough. From what, you should know.
I'm sure you don't want me to worry for you, so I will move on to a lighter topic before finishing this letter. I recently received news from Mistress Koizumi, who somehow found a way to contact me. She had her child just a week ago! Her child seems to be very popular around the younger species of fey. Mistress Koizumi promises that she will come to visit me, with her child. I told her to visit you, instead. She will go to your location in the week after the next, on Friday. Please expect her.
It is dangerous for a southerner to be in the North. Do not forget that.
I will end my letter here. I hope you have been doing well.
The Hunter.
