For a few more weeks, the atmosphere returned to normal except that Welter spaced out from you and Hersha hadn't shown up since you saw him in that room. It was like they all abandoned you to rot away which didn't seem like too bad of an idea now. All you did was lay on your side in Welter's room, only waiting for something.
Your stomach growled. It burned on your stomach and made you feel like you were sick. Mouth was dry other than the layer of mucus in it. 'I'm gonna dehydrate..' You thought to yourself, staring up at the empty ceiling. You weren't tired since you just woke up but you were bored enough to fall back into slumber.
There was nothing left to do but wait. Nothing to think about, nothing to listen to, nothing. You couldn't even look at anything but blackness. Though, you'd rather be alone than with the maniacs of this place. Closing your eyes, you drift off into sleep again, knowing that your body and mind didn't want it but you did it anyway. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
You were shaken awake, a warm hand on your shoulder. You peek your eyes open a bit and look through the slit between your lids, light forced your eyes shut again. The person shook you a little more violently this time. "Hey, wake up." Welter frowned as you forced your eyes open, the air starting to sting them. An aroma lingered in your nose and you softly inhaled. You brought your head down to see a glass of water and some unknown food in a white bowl. Both of the dishes sat next to Welter, spoon or fork in the bowl. It was too murky to tell.
The man took the bowl into his hands, you know noticing steam rising from it. He took the utensil, softly blowing on the contents then placing the warm spoon against your lips. "Open up." He replied and you did as told. The liquid had a chunk in it. It had to be some kind of steamed vegetable or something. You chewed and swallowed, glad to be getting some food.
"Sorry if it's terrible. I can't really cook." Welter frowned, tugging a bit at his long hair that had been pulled into a ponytail. He took the spoon and repeated the process, not asking for you to open your mouth anymore since you knew what to do.
Soon enough, the soup was gone except for little trace of the broth in the bowl. He then grabbed the glass, wrapping his fingers around your chin and placing the rim to your lips. He slowly tilted the glass, water trickling its way down your throat. A few seconds later, he pulled away the glass and the remaining water showed a difference in height from before. He was probably giving you time to breathe even though you didn't lose any breath from that five second process. Like the soup, he repeated the process until the glass was empty.
He stood up, placing the spoon in the cup and the cup in the bowl and strode out. He closed the door behind him. It made you fairly satisfied that you had stomached something and your throat wasn't as dry as before.
Welter returned and walked up to you, standing you up. Your legs wobbled, completely unsteady on your feet. His grip on your arm got a bit tighter as he walked with you. He walked slowly as if he didn't want to rush you. You really didn't know where you were going but it hardly mattered at this point.
The room you entered was different from Welter's room and the hallway. It was noticeably warmer; a bathroom. There was a toilet, sink, mirror, bathtub and shower. It wasn't different from any bathroom. As you two crossed the mirror, you got a glimpse of yourself and stopped in your tracks, shocked. This man isn't you. He had tired eyes and his body was getting thin and looking frail. He looked like he had given up on all hope. This can't be you.
"Come on." Welter tugged at you arm and wasn't patient anymore. He dragged you to the tub. He hand fell to yours, linking your fingers together as he helped you in. It was already filled with lukewarm water that rose a bit when you took a seat. The water came up to your chest if you laid back, knees poking out of the water.
"You're all greasy..." Welter said to either you or himself as he dragged his fingers across your shoulder. "I guess I should wash you." He muttered again. He grabbed a washcloth and began to get some soap on it. You noticed that his sleeves had already been rolled up but you had no idea when he did that. He began to scrub your shoulders, soap lathering up. He stood you and washed your lower half.
"Done." Welter dropped the cloth in the bath, walking you out of it and into the shower. He turned on the water, a bunch of cold hitting you and making you shiver. The water gradually got warmer but it was just to rinse you off. Just when it got comfortably warm, Welter shut off the supply of water and walked you out of the shower. Of course, his assistance wasn't needed anymore since you could walk fine but you let him help you due to fear of consequences.
He already had a towel and began to wipe you dry, starting with your legs. He made it up to your face. He started to pat the areas dry then. "There we go." The man muttered to himself, taking you by your arm and walking you out of the room again.
(This is for SenseiFox Thank me later) I'm sorry for this." He said to you with an apologetic face. He let go of your arm, dropping you out in front of a room you've never been in. He knocked on it twice and waited. A familiar blonde opened the door and gave a smile, pushing up his glasses. "Thank you." Virus smiled and Welter grimly nodded. He walked off, abandoning you with this male.
"I guess we can get started."
(Oh my god. I'm so tired and I'm leaving it with a cliff hanger m'kay.)
