Messing With My Head

Nico:

I finished inspection and headed back to the Big House.

"Did you find anything?" Mr.D asked me.

"Yeah." I told them. "I think I know who the demon is."

"Who?" Chiron asked.

"Percy." I told them. "He has all the equipment, things to torture angels, mortals, us. Tyson mustve built a basement for him, not knowing what he'd do with it. There was a portrait of Percy with demon eyes down there."

"Well I'll be dammed..." Mr.D said. "You think you can take care of him?"

"I can handle it." I told them. "I set a little trap for him. It'll activate after dinner."

After dinner I sneak into the back of Percy's cabin before he left. My only problem would be I knew Grover, Tyson, Jason, Frank and Leo would be coming back with him for guys night. I'll be there, too.

Taking care of the demon.

They all walked in. I was hiding so I could see them. Devils trap on the ceiling. Jason, Frank, Tyson, Leo, Grover... Got by fine.

Percy couldn't get any farther.

"What the?" Percy said and it doesn't dawn on him that devils trap.

"How...?" Grover said and they make a line, trying to get him out. Not looking up, which is when I came out. A demon blade and a colt in my jacket, my arms crossed.

"Don't even try." I told them. "It won't work."

"Nico?" Frank asked. "I thought you were coming later."

"And how would you know?" Grover asked and I pointed up.

Percy and everyone looked up.

"What is that?" Tyson asked. "I didn't see it before inspection..."

"You little shit!" Percy realized what was going on.

"What?" Leo asked. Thinking he meant him.

"Not you." Percy told him. "Him. The little shit that rigged my cabin."

"Why would you do that?" Jason asked me. "I mean considering everything."

"Fun fact." I told them, walking out. He had also had two of the tablets down there. I took them both. In my coat. "Tyson, you built a basement kind of thing here, right?"

"Yeah." Tyson told me. "Percy said he needed one. Why?"

"Do you know what he used it for?" I asked and Percy was fucking livid right now although silent.

"Storage or something, right?" Tyson tells me.

"Far from it." I told them, taking out the demon blade.

"Nico, what are you doing?" Grover asked. "You're supposed to kill monsters and evil spirits. Not demigods.'

" that's what I'm doing." I told them as I but the tip of the blade under Percys chin.

"Now you son of a bitch.' I said. " I'll give you a choice. Get out of my friend and leave forever. I'll let your little boss know about it. Or I will stab you straight through with this. The choice is yours."

Percy store me in the eyes, fear in his eyes. He opened his mouth and then shut it. Looked down for a moment and then back up.

"You wouldn't do it." Percy. Or whatever the demon inside of him was spoke to me. "You couldn't kill me the first time. You let me go the second time."
