Prologue

*William's POV*

"Will.Come over here!"Dame yelled.I swear he gets on my nerves sometimes.He yells at some of the most pathetic things.Like the time when we were in school and going to our next class when he just shrieked like a girl when we came across a TINY SPIDER on the door knob of our class.I won't be surprised if it was another damn spider.I would honestly just leave him to deal with it himself.

"What?!I swear if it's another stupid spi-"I stopped in my tracks and was shocked to see a girl covered with blood and a whole lotta bruises that are in different shades of purple and gray.If it wasn't for the faint heartbeat of hers,I would've thought she was dead.

I did what any normal wolf would've done,mind link our Alpha."ALPHA,WHAT DO I DO?OH GOD."

"Will?!What happened?!Calm yourself,you're not helping anyone when your yelling in my head like that!I swear,you're like Dame."I was offended and wanted to retort something back,but there are more important things to worry about at the moment.

I took a deep breath and listened to the girls heartbeat.She's okay.She'll be okay.I then calmed myself and replied with,"Alpha,Dame and I were patrolling when we came across a girl around the age of 5 at the southeast of our border,who is badly bruised and barely breathing.I don't know what to do,she's dying ."

*Jhess's POV(Alpha)*

"Alpha,Dame and I were patrolling when we came across a girl around the age of 5 at the southeast of our border,who is badly bruised and barely breathing.I don't know what to do,she's dying ."

I jerked off my bed and frantically started dressing at a ridiculous speed.I felt my mate put her hand on my shoulder,"What's wrong Jhess?"

"Helen,Will and Dame came across a girl who is at the verge of death.I need to be there."I kissed her on the forehead and started looking for my shoes.

"Jhess here."I looked at my mate who was handing me my running shoes.I flashed her a quick smile and took the shoes.I quickly put them on and was off to the door.I heard my mate following me and I turned around,"Hellen,stay here.It will be more safe for you.That girl was probably attacked by a rouge.I don't want you to get hurt.Just,just-"I was surprised when my mate shut me up by kissing me.

"I know.I was just seeing you off."I'm so lucky to have her.Although she isn't my real mate,I love her so much.I started dating her when I was 18 and now here we are,mated and married with a handsome 6 year old boy.We're also expecting another pup.

I smiled at her and kissed her one more time,"Take care of the little ones and stay safe."I then left.

I ran in the woods using my wolf senses to guide me through the dark.While I was at it I mind linked the pack doctor to inform him about the little girl."Garret,there's a little girl who's hurt and would need your assistance.I'll be there in no less than 2 minutes.Get ready."

"Yes alpha."I sighed.He was always so formal.

I was arriving at where Will said the girl was located at.

"Will?Dame?"

*William's POV*

"Will?Dame?"

"Alpha!We're over here!"Dame said while I mend to the girls injuries.I saw Jhess kneeled at the other side of me and looked at the girls injuries.He lifted the girls arm and that's where I totally lost it.

She was bitten.

"Oh no."Jhess muttered.

"Dame!Run her to the pack doctor.You're the fastest out of all of us.Tell Garret the situation,we'll catch up."Jhess ordered Dame and picked up the girl and put it in his arms.

"Yes alpha."Then he took off.Jhess and I hot on his tail.

We arrived at the pack doctor a minute after Dame did.We saw the girl just convulsing on one of the many beds in the room.

"What's happening?!"I ran to her but Dame stood in my way.

"What are you doing?!Get out of my way!"I tried to push him out of the way,but he only blocked me more.

"I swear,if you don't get out of my way I'll-"

"She's in transition,Will.She's convulsing because she's trying to look for her inner wolf.As we were born with one,she has to go off to the lands to find hers.This can be a long process,or short.She's not in pain don't worry.I just have to fix up her wounds so she wakes up in no pain at all.When she finds her inner wolf,her wolf will help in the healing process.So,everything will be okay.She'll be okay."Garret explained.I nodded my head and was happy that she'll be okay.I backed away from Dame and sat on one of the beds.

"The lands?"Our alpha asked.

"The lands are where our inner wolfs are born.It's where they grow as their own people,but they don't have physical faces.Think of it as if they were old souls.They grow up and wait for their other piece to get them."

"So does that mean-"

"Where am I?"

That's the end of the prologue!*wipes sweat off*I guess it was a little boring,but it will get interesting in the next few chapters!

The picture of the girl is how she looks like as a kid.Just imagine her with blue eyes.When the girl grows up she will be portrayed as a different character.
