Baby

Imagine it showing up in the papers that your pregnant. Your phone rings for the tenth time and with a sigh you answer Harry's call.

"Hey" you awkwardly mumble.

"Is it okay if I come over?" Harry asks, lowering his voice to a wisper before continuing, "I don't want to do this over the phone."

. . .

Twenty minutes later there's a knock at your door. Before you can get out a hello Harry rushes inside, pulling you in against his chest as the aroma of his colone warms your senses. His touch sends a mutal feeling of comfort through your body.

After what felt like hours Harry loosened his grasp, gently grazing the pads of his fingertips against your skin exposed from your crop t-shirt.

"Is it true?" He mumbles in a curious yet genuinely concered tone.

You peer into his eyes so you can see his reaction as you tell him, "No."

He brushes his messy curls to the left side but there's no sigh of relief like a huge burden has been lifted off his shoulders or a small dimple in the crevice of his cheek from hearing the news.

His eyes narrow as he responds with a simple, "Okay." Before gently kissing your lips the way he always has, passionately.

That's the thing about Harry. While you were freaked out at the mere idea of being pregant he was calm, taking it in a rather mature way even though he could be a huge goof ball at times, telling jokes that made no sense but made you laugh nonetheless.

Harry's voice suddenly draws you out of your daze. The meaning put into each syllable is evident, "You know I'd be there for you either way, right?"

You trace around his fingers before you can hold back a smile no more, peering up at Harry as you get lost in his emerald eyes, drawing your body back to his once more.

He's always been so gentle in the way he holds you but now you know for sure. Whenever something goes wrong or not exactly as planned you'll always have Harry to rely on.
