Chapter 4: Back To A Partially Normal Life...

Kristin's POV:

I woke up sprawled across Christians bed & Christian is no where to be found. I checked the time on his iHome.

2:30 pm.

No wonder he wasn't still sleeping! It's past noon!!! I heard drum beats & humming then all the other instruments. Another Round was having practice, and I need a smoke. I crawl out of bed and go to my duffel bag, grabbing out a grey flannel shirt, black skinny jeans, my Harley Davidson high heeled combat boots, & my star necklace. My makeup was in the bathroom, so I went and applied my black eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow, along with my crimson lipstick. I straightened my hair from yesterday's braided hairstyle, and pulled it into a ponytail. I looked okay, so I didn't even bother changing my star captive bead silver lip ring or my black star navel ring. I headed down stairs to see Uncle Andy having a Starbucks coffee and watching an older time Batman movie with Aunt Morghin.

"Hey Kristin, the boys are downstairs, & Christian got you a coffee and another pack of cigarettes as he smoked your last one. They are on the counter." Uncle Andy said smiling.

"Thanks for the information, and I brought you something back from tour!" I told him, digging in my purse for it. I handed both Uncle Andy and Aunt Morghin a small Velvet bag, and they opened them. Uncle Andy pulled out a small platinum ring with a diamond in the middle, and Aunt Morghin pulled out a small diamond strung on a silver chain.

"It's beautiful Kristin." Aunt Morghin said nuzzling her head into Andy's shoulder.

"Aww, thanks Kristin." Uncle Andy said, pulling me into a hug. When he released me, I took my purse, coffee, and cigarettes downstairs toward the boys, who were playing Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin. Everyone waved and embraced me in a hug, & Blade had tears running down his cheeks.

"Your home! Your a week early!" Blade said squeezing me tightly.

"Yo man! Your gonna squeeze the life outta yo sister!" David said in a laughing fit. Jaime and Jack were smiling like crazy, like they knew something.

"I brought you all something back from tour, and have a huge surprise to tell." I said pulling out 5 velvet pouches. For Christian I brought back a platinum ring with a black batman symbol on it, for Blade, I brought an onyx crested cross necklace, for Jaime I brought a specially made a diamond crested black guitar pick, for jack, I brought a hybrid bred rare Ball Python snake egg that he could hatch, and for David I brought back a pair of Chrome plated drumsticks. They all gave me a hug & Christian & Blade kissed my cheek.

"And the biggest surprise is that Standby Records has signed you on to tour with The Fallen while we're in the states for a month. Your opening for us." I told them, watching as all their jaws literally dropped to the basement floor, and David's old drumsticks hit the ground.

"You are the best girl in the world!" Blade and the others cheered as they all squashed me in a group hug. When everyone peeled off of me, I left the room to have a smoke.
