 Daniel... suddenly knowing his name made me feel some sort of satisfaction. I probably won’t ever see him again but it’s something to know his name right?

 "Hazel… um hazel?" I turned around to look at Daniel." huh...sorry" I said not wanting to look him in the eyes because I knew I would get lost in them.

" It’s all right babe" did he just call me babe? Why is he being so nice all of the sudden?

Well this was awkward he cleared his throat, I’m pretty sure he felt the awkwardness too, Great. "So...  since we are about to spend 8 hours seating together how about we get to know each other?" He suggested and I agreed, I wanted to know all I could about him.

"Okay how about we play 20 questions?" I said smiling.

"All right, you go first" hmm what should I ask him...okay I should start from the begining.

"Okay um how old are you?"

"18" He said. He is only one year older than me, that’s good right?

"Hmm where are you from?" He asked, "I’m from Canada" I replied smiling at all those good memories.

*FLASHBACK*

 "Happy birthday!" my friends laughed while they pushed my face in the cake. “You guys! I told you not to do that!" I tried not to laugh but I couldn’t stop! We ended up throwing cake at each other’s faces. "Okay...okay! I surrender" i said while holding my hands up. It was my birthday and since I’m not much of a party kind of girl I decided to be with my four best friends all night or at least until we couldn’t keep our eyes open.

 "Hazel what movie do you want to watch?" my best friend Claudia asked me. "Uh I don’t know pick whatever you want!" it was already 2am and I was sure I was going to fall asleep during the middle of the movie so I didn’t really care. "Girl! it’s your birthday you choose!" knowing she wouldn’t take no as an answer so I chose my favorite movie "The Little Mermaid!" I said cheering like a little girl. "ugh agaaain??" my friend Matthew groaned. “We have watched that movie at least a million times! Don’t you get tired of it?" "Nope!" I said popping the P he looked at Sam and Aaron waiting for them to say something but they just shrugged. "Ha! You see you are the only one who has problem with my wise choice!" I said laughing, Mat just ignored me.

 “Hazel! Claudia! Come here for a second!" Claudia’s mom called us. We both got up and walked outside to where all our moms were. "yesss..? we both said at the same time. "Could you go get us some more beers?" Alyssa claudia's mom asked, i could tell she was already a little drunk. "Really mom! You made us get up to get you beers?! Sometimes you are so lazy!" she said to her mom in a joke full way. I noticed my mom wasn’t there "where is my mom?" "oh she went to go take a shower" Alyssa said "okay thanks" I followed Claudia to get some beers but then I hear Alyssa  saying something in a whisper as if she didn’t want someone to hear. I slowly walked back to hear what they were saying. “But hasn’t she helped you so much? Ever since Claudia’s dad left she has helped you.”  Matt's mom said, I could hear how concerned she was. “I know but she is such a hypocrite! The way she is racing that little girl, it just frustrates me. She doesn’t act like a mother to her she acts like she is her teenage friend and I don’t think that is how it is supposed to be, she is her mother not her friend and I’ve tried to tell her that but she doesn’t seem to listen.” Mats and Aaron's mom just sat there quietly. Who is she talking about?  I was about to leave when I heard Alyssa say her name. I couldn't believe it. i gasped in surprise and covered my mouth quickly with both hands. They immediately turned around and looked at me.
