The waiter having taken their orders, a comfortable hum of conversation filled the air. Jin, ever the enthusiastic older brother, turned to Taehyung with a bright smile.

"So, Taehyung," he began, his tone now more direct, "Y/N is very precious to me. As you can imagine, hearing that she was in a relationship with her professor... well, it raised a few eyebrows on my end initially."

He chuckled good-naturedly.

Taehyung nodded, understanding completely. "Of course. I can imagine."

But seeing how happy she is, and hearing her talk about you... I can tell you care for her deeply. And honestly," he added, leaning back in his chair slightly, "you seem like a good man."

A sense of relief washed over Taehyung.

Jin's acceptance meant a lot to him.

"Thank you, Jin. I love Y/N very much, and my intentions are completely sincere

Jin nodded, his gaze serious for a moment. "Good. Because with that in mind... I'd like to come and speak with your parents soon. Properly. To talk about marriage."

Y/N's eyes widened slightly, a blush creeping up her cheeks. She hadn't expected things to move quite this quickly on the family front.

Taehyung, however, felt a surge of warmth and happiness.

Jin's straightforwardness was refreshing. "I... I would like that very much, Jin. My parents would be thrilled to meet you, and to hear about our plans."

Jin beamed. "Excellent! How about sometime next week? We can coordinate schedules." He looked at Y/N, a playful glint in his eyes. "Don't worry, little sis. I'll make sure everything is done properly."

Y/N smiled, feeling a sense of peace and happiness wash over her.

Having her brother's blessing and seeing Taehyung's eagerness to involve his family meant the world to her.
