Prologue

Jeff has a war in his head. The old him and the killer him are fighting and he doesn't know what to do.

Cate is a high schooler who is bullied for being "emo". She is fighting depression and the fear that she will never be good enough.

When the two meet, will blood be spilled or will love blossom instead?

Chappie 1

Cates pov

"Cate, your gonna miss the bus!"

"Ugh, fine mom! Be right there!"

If I'm lucky I will miss the bus.. I don't feel like being picked on by those losers on it.

My bones cracked as I got out of bed, and I decided to wear my favorite outfit for today.

I pulled the skull pattern hoodie over my head and pulled in my black skinny jeans. After I brushed my long brown hair I put a striped beanie on.

"Good morning Cate, how did you

sleep?"

I was about to answer when the tv

stated,

"Killer in the lose. Unknown killer strikes again." I quickly turned to stare at the tv and felt the colour instantly drain from my face.

"People have described this man to have long black hair, dark rimmed eyes, and a very large smile carved into his face. If you see anyone who fits this description, please call your local police department."

Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no. I'v seen that guy.. In my nightmare last night.

I woke up in my dream with a cold blade on my throught, and a voice whispered in my ear "go to sleep."

As soon as I screamed though, he let go of me and fell down, holding his head screaming "Shut up shut up shut up! I thought you were gone! Get out if my head!" And he screamed I jumped out my window and when I hit the ground, I woke up. Sweaty in my bed.

This can not be for real.
