As I approached the building I looked up at the black metallic gates protect us against all evil. I felt a sudden sense of protection and belonging, it was weird but pleasant at the same time. I took my first pace in the ancient, tall, towering building. I then unexpectedly got shoved to the side by an older teenager as he ran to his friends, not exactly what I pictured as my first moment, but what the heck! Buzzzzzzzzzzz! The bell had rang and all of a sudden out of nowhere a swarm of students all sprinted to the hall, it was like the Olympics, all of us wanted gold, and they weren't letting anyone get past them, however I was quite confused as I didn't know where to go, so I just decided to follow the huge swarm of students. We were all instructed to go to the hall and the swarm led me just there. They gave us a whole one hour lecture on their expectations, and they then gave us our timetables so we knew what classes to go.

I walked in to my new English class and was instructed to take a seat where I was greeted by my new English teacher. She was an average height lady with lovely long brown hair, and shiny brown eyes. She stood in the front of the class, so calm yet so controlling and she said "Goodmorning students my name is Ms lovely. Everyone up, let's play a game to get to know each other, okay I'll go first. My name is Ms lovely and I love English."
I was the last one, and I was really scared and shy. I hate when loads of people look at me, I feel uncomfortable. Slowly, one by one everyone was done. My turn was approaching soon.

"Hey guys my name is jamal and I..."

Knock! Knock! The most beautiful girl I had ever seen slipped through the door. My heart dropped. I was mesmerised. I just stared at her, and fantasied about what we could do.

"Sorry I'm late, I got lost" she politely explained while looking around at the class.

"Oh it's okay, what's your name?" Ms lovely asked.

"My name is Rachel"

"Okay Rachel sit next to Jamal, we're just telling everyone a little about ourselves." She said whilst pointing in my direction.

She slowly walked up to me and sat right next to me, I was so uncomfortable because she was so beautiful, and I was so shy. Maybe this year will be better than I thought it.

"Jamal, please proceed."

"Okay, my name is Jamal and I love playing football and Fifa" I preached to the class.

Then 'she' spoke. "My name is Rachel and I love writing books."

"Hmm we got a writer in the class, I will be expecting a lot from you" Ms lovely giggled

"I won't disappoint you Ms lovely" Rachel said

After that we got our new books, and were told to write a little about ourselves, where we came from and about our families. I concentrated a lot on this to make a good impression. After we were all done Ms lovely told us she was going to pick on some of us to tell everyone what we wrote.

"Jamal why don't you start us off."

I slowly braced myself and got up to the front of the class. My palms were sweaty, knees weak, and arms were heavy. I took a deep breath, I slowly took a good look at the class, and remembered my mum always told me when I was scared infront of huge crowds to pretend they were all naked, and I was more than happy to do that if I was staring at Rachel.

"Hi guys, today I will be telling you guys about my family. Please enjoy."

Everyone's eyes locked on to me as I opened my mouth to start.

"I live with my mum, and my younger brother Abdullah who is 2 years younger than me. I love them both so much, and I would literally kill for them. Well when my younger brother was born my dad ran away. I think it was because he was scared of all the responsibility.
My mum supported us all by herself, and I love her even more for that. We moved here last week from Ealing and yeah that's it."

"That was great Jamal" Ms Lovely exclaimed as everyone clapped their hands.

I then slowly approached my seat, and I heard Rachel say "hey".

I looked around to see who it was directed to because I wasn't sure it was for me, then saw she was looking me straight in the eyes, and I replied "hey"

"That was amazing, I could relate to your story. You see my dad left me and my mum too as soon as I was born so I know exactly how you feel"

As Rachel and I were speaking to each other about our lives and troubles the time just flew. It was an amazing conversation. I felt lost, as I stared into her beautiful brown eyes. They lit up my day. And her long luscious brown hair somehow managed to bounce ever so perfectly as she laughed and turned her head. It was like she was sent down from heaven, she was perfect. I just wished I could have her forever.

Buzzzzzzzz! The alarm stopped us before my thoughts escalated to actions. We both then went to lessons, and I saw her again and realised we were in every lesson together, it was like a dream come true. However in our history class it was much different, we sat completely away from each other. I sat next to this really nice guy. His name was José. He was a Spanish dude, tall, quite an an athletic guy, judging from his body, and was quite the joker.
I continued the day talking to him, but barely paid attention as I was just thinking about 'her'.
She was amazing, and I just couldn't seem to get her off my mind. She had me daydreaming about her. It was crazy.
At lunch I saw her and waved, she waved back, and gave me the best smile I had ever seen. It made me uncontrollably smile back, and my face lit. She was eating with her mates, yes she was quite the popular one, while I only had one friend, but was yet to make many.

This was perfect.
