I Fell For The Boy Who

"What a day." I said to Nora as we were driving home from school. Today was basically the worst day of the whole year. No, I'm kidding obviously, cause that's a way understatement. So, you could classify me as maybe one of the nerds or as my peers call me, an 'outsider'.

It all started today as I was walking into my 2nd hour class, which happens to be my favorite class of the day. Science. The teacher, Mr. Gentz, is the best teacher that I've ever had, and a close family friend, so it just makes that class 10 times easier and way more fun.

As I round the corner into the classroom, I hit a brick wall. And yes, I'm being serious, a solid brick wall. As in the schools top jock, badass, and the 'popular boy'. Also known as, Jet Foster. If you got close enough to see him, it was a miracle. "Woah, hands off the goodies there, miss." Said Jet as he stepped over me and went to his next class. "Jerk." I called out, as if he could hear or even cared that I said it.

I got up, brushed off my clothes, and went to go sit by my best friend, Nora Swanson. Nora can be the sweetest girl you could ever meet. But, if you piss her off, she can become a bitch real fast and not even think twice about it.

We were learning about the deadliest diseases cells can give you. Personally, more than half the class already has an STD or AIDS, so I didn't really get why we were learning about it. No one really cares to pay attention, nor did I but still managed to slide past the class with an A.

Nora is a social butterfly and talks to everyone so when she mentions the party Cody Nelson is having tonight, I wasn't so sure about it.

"Oh, come on Megan! It's not gonna be that bad, it'll be fun!" Shouted Nora. "It's not that I don't think we'll have fun.. I just don't know if I'll fit in with everyone else like you do!" I said.

"Please Megan, just this one time?!" Asked Nora. I think about it for a minute. Or two. Or how ever long I stood there. Maybe it isn't such a bad idea if I go, it could be the perfect opportunity to get out there and make some new friends."Okay, fine! But, you owe me!" I said. Right then, I found myself getting attacked by Nora and basically tumbling to the ground.

As Nora and I pulled into my driveway that's attached to my garage and house, we were surprised by a new 2012 Camaro! I run into the house shouting to my mom, "MOM! Who's car is that?!" "Hunny, it's yours!" My mom said. In awe, I fall to the ground in shock. Nora, not to long after is on the floor as well as I am, but instead of crying, she's laughing her head off! I look up at her, "Not funny." I tell her. I run up to my mom and give her a huge hug and a nice, big, slobbery kiss. "Thank you so much! You are the best." I say to her with a smile on my face. "You are so welcome baby girl. Here are your keys!" Mom said.

"What time is that party, Cody's having tonight?" I asked Nora. "Um, like around 7, I think." She said. "Lets pick out what to wear." I say to her. Pulling basically everything out of my closet, and on to my floor, I can't find a single thing. As I'm looking through my dresses, I find this short, black, lacy dress and some nice black heels for me to wear tonight. Now for the make up. Nora helps me with that because, normally I don't wear make up. I like the 'natural' look, as people might call it. Putting a nice reddish, pinkish shade of lipgloss on my lips, and a thin later of smokey black eyeliner on the top if my lid. To finish it off, I smack a little bit of pink blush to accent my cheeks.

As for my hair goes, I abuse it by straightening the living hell out of it, then I put some gel and hairspray in it, so it stay nice and in place!

"Holy crap Megan, you look smokin hot." Nora said in shock and her mouth wide open. "Haha, thanks, you too girl! Are we ready?" I ask. "I believe so!" Said Nora. Walking down my stairs, trying to get used to these shoes, I try not to trip and fall. "Wow, where are you going tonight missy?" My mom asks. "Me and Nora are just going to a party." I say. "Ohhh, just a party aye?" My mom says with a smirk on her face. "Can we take the Camaro?" I ask. "Darling, it is YOUR car. It has a full tank of gas, go for it!"

Giving my mom a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek, we walk out the door and into my new car. "Be safe and careful!!" My mom shouts out the door. I roll down the window and say "Don't worry, we will be!" Cranking up the music, and turning on my favorite song, Can't Hold Us by Macklemore ft. Ray Dalton, we pull out of the drive way heading to Cody's party.

Cody's dad is one of the top lawyers in all of the state. And for his mom, lets just say, she can cook! Cody has the biggest house and his parents are the coolest, so of course he can have the whole senior class at his house.

As I walk into his house, I get pushed back out by an already drunk guy. "Hey pretty lady!" With a disgusted look, I slap him. "EW." I yell at him.

Cody sees us and starts waking toward us with a smile on his face. "I'm glad you guys came!" He said. Nora looks at me with a smirk and turns back to Cody, "Thanks for inviting us!" She said.

He showed us around, then I ditched and headed over to the kitchen. I grabbed some punch and poured a little bit of vodka in it, just for a kick. I was exploring when someone tapped on my shoulder. "Hi." He said.

I turned around to find myself face to face with Jet. Jet Foster.
