"Sooo did you two love birds enjoy you're make out session?" Lizabeth chirped as they entered the cabin. Asuna slapped her in the arm. "What that was what made you guys late right?"
"We're only like 10 minutes late," Kirito pointed out, but he was smiling. Probably because it was pretty much true.
"Anyway," Asuna cleared her throat. "Are we doing anything today or are we just hanging out?"
"Well there's a couple quests but nothing reallt interesting," Klein's voice spoke up as he entered the room.
Sugu-well Leafa- and Lizabeth exchanged a glance and Leafa nodded.
Lizabeth ran out for a second and returned with a shiny blue crystal.
Asuna gasped and walked forward. "Its beautiful! Oh and its my favorite color- favorite shade!! Where did you find this?"
"Leafa had found a secret cave so before we all met up today me and her ran over there to check it out. There's tons of crystals but the catch is you can only obtain one crystal per visit," Liz handed the crystal to Asuna, who's eyes practically lit up and shined as she admired the gem. "You have to beat these crystal beasts to get to the stash and when you collect a crystal you collect one at random."
Leafa joined in, seeming excited. "I think the reason its not famous or anything is because players don't have the patience to go back over and over," she grinned. "I believe that there's a real special rare item or crystal in there and if you're patient and go everyday, you'll obtain it!"
Kirito examined the crystal. It was very pretty indeed, he admitted to himself. A thought popped in his head and he inhaled from the shock of this thought. He kept quiet and nodded.
"Seems interesting. But you've gone for the day so we still don't have anything to do."
Everyone looked at him for a little. They could probably tell that he was thinking of something. He cleared his throat. "You could tell us one thing...what does it do?"
Liz shrugged. "Haven't figured it out. Its labeled as 'blue crystal' which doesn't exactly explain much."
Kirito nodded again and Asuna let him hold it. He turned it around and looked at it from different angles.
He seems interested in this crystal....what is he thinking? Asuna wondered as Kirito toyed with it for a bit.
He shrugged. "Maybe its called 'blue crystal' because that's all it is. Maybe something you can use as decoration or put it in a sword design or something like that."
Lizabeth perked up and used her skills to look it up. "Huh," she put a hand on her hip. "He's right. Its used for accessories and blacksmithing. They're common enough."
"I think the crystals will get better with each trip," Leafa repeated once more.
As the words left her mouth, silca joined in. Everyone looked as she entered.
"Silca!" Asuna greeted her. "Why are you so late?"
Silca's adorable little dragon chirped as Silca sighed. "I had to get some stuff from the store, and the store was packed. Finally I was able to make dinner but I was late and my mom was nagging at me to do dishes and this and that..."
The girls all laughed and Klein put his arm on her as shoulder. "Its the same way for a guy with a wife!"
Asuna smiles at this. Technically she and kirito were married in SAO. Asuna and Kirito had no problem with distributing the chores, with the exception that they would wind up cuddling or sleeping together...there wasn't many chores to do regardless.
Kirito also smiled, wrapping his arm around her. "Asuna is a perfect wife she made no such demands."
Lizabeth made a puking gesture and Klein gave Kirito a thumbs up. The mood....the air....it was all so prefect.
Everyone wanted to believe it would stay that way.
But not everyone gets what they want.
