CHAPTER ONE
SILENT TEARS
Lightning flashed violently as the howling wind echoed throughout the old mansion that stood atop a steep hill, casting a haunting glow as the werewolves howled in the dead of night at the blood red moon.
CRASH! BANG! BOOM!
"Hikaru!"
One of the two boys that lived in the mansion screamed in terror as the bright lights flashed in the darkness, blinding him in fear, the fear of the Vampire. The youngest of the two gripped his red locks in his palm, screaming his name.
"Every Halloween, in this very house, lives a Vampire, ready to feast upon whoever dared to venture into his household on a night when the moon is blood red, the symbol that is was time for him too feast."
"HIKARU!" The boy screamed again, as another blinding flash echoed throughout the house. Rushed footsteps could be heard, heading straight for the terrified boy that sits up in bed, candle light floating along with them. The oldest of the two quickly set down the candle on the nightstand next to the bed, and sat down, pulling the scared boy into a tender embrace. "Shh....Kaoru it's okay....I'm right here. He's not." The older one gently ran his fingers threw the identical red locks of his younger brothers. "Don't go....!"
Kaoru was frozen in fear as the flash of blinding light boomed, and by the end of the flash, he was pinned against the wall. Blood red eyes stared into the younger twins eyes as the older twin was being held back by his Opie. Kaoru was paralyzed in fear as the Vampire licked his lips, his eyes glazing over with hunger.
Kaoru whimpered, clutching his older brothers identical sky blue silk nightshirt, in fear of being pried away for a snack again. "Kaoru, how many times do i have to tell you," Hikaru lifted Kaoru's chin up, wiping away his tears with his thumb. "I will never leave you for the likes of Him ever again." The older brother said, in a soft, calm voice, as he gently placed a kiss on the younger's lips.
"Kaoru! Kaoru!" Hikaru yelled, desperately trying to get away from the Vampire's Opie, to no avail. The Vampire leans down and gently licks Kaoru's neck, then harshly prices his fangs into his neck. Kaoru screamed in pain, tears streaming down his face.
Kaoru relaxed in Hikaru's arms, melting into the forbidden contact between them. Another flash of lightning came, and Kaoru pulled away from the kiss quickly, barring his face in Hikaru's warm chest. Hikaru traced circles on Kaoru's trembling figure, humming "Father's Music Box" in a sweet tone, calming the younger, as he fell into slumber once more in the inviting arms of his older brother.
After the Vampire's quench was fulfilled, he pulled away from Kaoru, licking the remaining blood from his neck and placed a soft kiss upon his trembling figure. "If you want Hikaru, I will turn you, and Kaoru will be all yours." The Vampire stated.
Once Hikaru was sure Kaoru was asleep, he bared his fangs his fangs and licked Kaoru's neck, earning a quiet moan from his sleeping twin. Hikaru pressed his fangs into his younger twins neck, as gently as possible, and began to drink his oh-so-vulnerable brother. Hikaru pulled away after he feasted enough for the night, and licked the flowing blood from his brothers neck. "I'm sorry my love, but it's the only way to make you mine."
Kaoru weakly slipped down the wall, his vision blurred from tears. He only heard mumbling of his brother talking with the Vampire, before he passed out, not knowing what Hikaru just got himself into. "DEAL!" The oldest twin yelled. "I never want to see you again!" The Vampires Opie bite Hikaru and turned him quickly , and they both disappeared as quick as they came. "Hikaru, you must drink from your brother every night when he's asleep, and i will NEVER return." Was the last thing Hikaru heard before he picked up his sleeping twin and got into bed with him, protectively wrapping his arms around his younger brothers waist, and fell into a deep sleep.
