CHAPTER TWO
SLIPPING SECRETS
The harsh rays of the sun shining through the windows is what woke Hikaru up. He yawned quietly before gazing upon his sleeping twin, that lays next to him, his face having a faint smile of pure bliss. This made Hikaru smile, as Kaoru snuggled closer to him. Hikaru ran his hand through Kaoru's red locks lovingly, as Kaoru's eyes fluttered open, staring back into his eyes.
Kaoru smiled, and gave Hikaru a soft peck on the lips. "Good Morning....." He said, but as he pulled away, he stared at his brothers lips. "Hikaru....why do your lips taste like blood....?" Kaoru asked, noticing his blood stained lips. Hikaru instantly pale, and his eyes flashed blood red with hunger. Kaoru's eyes widened, and he quickly pulled away from Hikaru.
Hikaru was swift, and before his brother could leave, he pinned him down, holding Kaoru's wrists above his head. Kaoru's eyes widen in fear as Hikaru licks the barely visible bite mark on his neck. "H-Hikaru.....y-you can't b-be...." Kaoru stutters. Hikaru sighs, "Yes Kaoru, I am a Vampire. But, I did it to protect you from Him. He said if I drank from you everyday, he would never come be to harm you."
Kaoru relaxes slightly underneath Hikaru, but tensed back up when he bent back down. "I'm hungry Kaoru....." He purred in his ear, brushing his fangs lightly against his neck. Kaoru gulps, and sucks in a quick breath. "O-Okay....just be g-gentle...." He squeaks, nervous about his decision. "Don't worry Kaoru. I always am. That's why you never have neck pains when you wake up." Hikaru said, as he licks Kaoru's neck, coating it in saliva to reduce any pain he might feel. Hikaru looked his brother in the eyes and said "Can I?", and with a gentle nod in reply, Hikaru carefully bit into his younger brother's soft, tender flesh and began to drink.
Kaoru moaned. "H-Hikaru....is it suppose to f-feel good?" He stuttered, wrapping his bony arms around Hikaru's pale neck. After Hikaru's hunger was quenched, he pulled away, licking up any remaining blood on the silky neck he just claimed as his own for about the thousandth time. "Yes baby brother, it's suppose to feel like you're in Heaven."
Little did they know, he was watching in the darkness. He will soon take back the once young flesh he claimed years ago in their home once again.
