The heart beats full of life,
At first it's happy,
Then hits the strife,
The strike of pain,
The pain to shatter and devour,The darkness that slowly eats you away inside,
Darkness and happiness do not stand side by side,
For there is a war between the two,
A war you must fight,However once the heart is broken,
Nearly impossible not to become outspoken,
The depression lingers and stays,
Swallowing your heart whole,You try to find Happiness but it's nearly impossible,
When you do find happiness it's ripped away from you,Your heart has been shattered and devoured,
No more life just a pain strike,
You've lost you're fight,The happiness is gone,
It's gone for good,
It never stays,
Everything around you betrays,Darkness refuses to fade,
Life and loneliness trade,
Cut the ribbon trim to your heart all together,
Slowly watch it crumble a part and blow away,Trying to crawl your way out,
The pitch black has shown no light,
Only the shallowness you crawl through bites,Your heart has been shattered and devoured,
No more life just a pain strike,
You've given up you're fight,The night surrounds,
Your emotions out of bounds,
Not a guiding light to be found,
Slowly your heart stops to pound,Broken and shattered,
Devoured and torchered,
Nothing but death seems to matter,Crawl, wallow, and cry,
No one can hear you now,
Your pain is to much to bear,
Like life, so unfair.
