Out in the preserve, Scott McCall and Skylar Hale were roaming in the dark, looking around for the Beta and the newly turned Chimera.

"There isn't anything, no tracks, no scent, nothing, we can't find them like this." Scott says, a defeated expression on his face.

"Can't you howl? Or roar, or something?" Skylar asks with a sigh.

"If he only hears me." Scott answers.

"What are you going to do now?" Skylar then asks.

"I don't know." Scott says, a frown taking over his features.

"I hear there's another Chimera, Corey? The one that was with the Scorpion Chimera thing? Mason found out he's one of them." Skylar then says.

Scott stayed silent, trying to catch a scent, an anxious expression playing out on Skylar's face as she looked at Scott.

"Hey, Scott?" Skylar hesitantly says.

Scott looks at Skylar with a curious look.

Skylar seemed like something was nagging her, like she needed to say something or she might explode, but, she couldn't, no matter hard she tried to–––she just froze up, like the words were unable to escape.

Scott heard Skylar mumbling under her breath, him looking at her clearly confused. "What was that?"

"Nothing, nothing!" She forced a smile.

"Let's just continue to look for Liam." Skylar ignored his look.

"Skylar, i think it's time we should stop hiding secrets, no one's talking to anyone, i feel like we're not a pack anymore." Scott says, a depressing aura shielding around him.

"Yeah, well, when the 'leader' isn't trusting his own pack, what do you expect?" Skylar sneers.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Scott asks, a clueless expression on his face.

"I heard, Scott, that day at school, i heard you saying that you don't know if you could trust Kira anymore." Skylar states.

Scott sighs out, opening his mouth to say something.

Skylar interjects. "You should focus on getting back your Beta, trust can come later."

That same night, Kira Yukimura had gotten herself stopped by Deputy Clark, the Yukimura obviously confused by what's going on with her honestly, but seems as if no one really believes her.

"Hi, there, you okay?" Deputy Clark asks.

Kira became anxious, her eyes staring around the dark and lonely road. "Something–––something happened here..."

"Cars usually happen here, going very fast, so, it might be a good idea to at least step out of the middle of the road." Deputy Clark says, eyeing the Kitsune.

Clark noticed Kira seemed distracted, her then taking in a deep breath before talking. "...how about i give you a ride home? Does that sound like a good idea?"

"I think, i think i came here to remember." Kira mumbles to herself.

"That's fair." Clark says. "But, considering how late it is, i'm thinking your parents are going to be a little worried about you."

As Kira went to go to the police car, she felt herself being pushed against the closed door, then the feeling of cold metal was wrapped around her wrist.
