Peter gave me the new dress that he bought. I undressed and started to put it on but I felt watched. I looked towards the door and saw Peter looking at me. I gasped but I couldn't do anything about it. So I just turned my back towards him and finished dressing. He cooked and cooked and I sat there thinking for hours. At 4:00 the family came. Peter took off his oven mitts and hugged a lady with a little too much lipstick on. Then he looked towards me. "Mia, this is aunt Lisa." He said. I was in another world until peter snapped me out of it. I smiled at the lady. She came in for a big hug. She smelt like cigarettes and old chocolate. Then I saw a girl my age. Finally!!!!! After Peter introduced me to everybody, they all said in unison,"Welcome Home!" The girl my age hugged me and said, "we've been waiting for you for so long" she said smiling. "I'm just happy that i am home" I replied. Everyone talked and ate and had fun.Dani, my cuz, the girl my age gave me her number. I actually felt good. Well until they all left and it was only me and Peter. "You did pretty good Mia, now go get some rest". He told me. I listened. Well because i was freakin tired.I went to the bed and rested. Finally.
