I gasped but quickly covered my mouth to keep quiet. I tip-toed the hallway following the blood trail. I know , I know. Bad move. Every dumb girl in movies move but I needed to know what was going on and whether I was in danger. I followed the trail down the stairs and discovered something horrific in the kitchen. The lifeless body of the young girl, Shawna on the floor stabbed repeatedly in the stomach. Daniel was washing the blood off his hands in the sink. I gasped but tip-toed back trying to go back in my room without him knowing I was there but he noticed me anyways. "She deserved it" he said. I stopped and listened. "I told her to sleep with me and she refused" he whispered washing the knife now. "IN THIS HOUSE! YOU LISTEN TO YOUR MASTER! I'M YOUR MASTER!" he yelled. I jumped up startled. He chuckled. Then he laughed louder. "Would you like to sleep with me"? He asked. Is he crazy??!!! I ran past the kitchen and out of the door. I ran into the forest. He followed me behind but I was faster. I was determined to escape. I had enough. I ran into the streets leading to city. I stopped in front of a building. A building that said Police Department. I ran in there bruises and all. My clothes had dirt all over. There were holes in my clothes. My hair was dirty and all over the place. I looked like a homeless person. They all looked at me confused. I paused and caught my breath. " I- I've been kidnapped. I'm Sapphire " I said. One of the police came over to me and said "We've been looking for you for months".
I hugged him. It felt good to hold someone that was there to help me and someone that I knew was safe. They called my whole family to the prescient. A few hours later my dad came in crying and hugged me tightly. I didn't want to let me go. They sent me to the hospital.

I took a quick nap and woke up. The nurses were doing tests and stuff on me. " I'm glad your home , I love you" My dad said sitting at the side if the hospital bed. "Yes, I'm sorry I didn't listen to you. I'll never do it again" I said hugging my dad. "Don't worry about it" he replied. The detective came in and asked me a bunch of questions. "Can you describe both your kidnappers for me please?" He asked. "The first one has red hair and a red beard. He is over weight and has a tattoo that says 'Lucy' on his right arm. He lives in a cabin in Florida on Redwood street I think. The second one lives close to here in an abandoned huge house. He has blong hair and no beard. No tattoos. He has a mole on his chin and ankle. And he has more hostages please, please go and save them first. One he killed" I said crying. "Thanks for your cooperation. We will let you in on the updates". He said getting up ready to leave. "Please make sure both go to jail" I told the detective. Lyla bust through the door and jumped on me giving me a hug. "Sapphire! I'm so glad you're okay! Omg I am never going in Chat Mega ever again! I missed you!" He eyes started to water. "I missed you too Lyla! We have so much to catch up with" I said smiling. "I love you" she said wiping a tear and smiling "I love you too" I said with tears running down.
