Your POV
I was at the mall shopping with my three year old Alexa. We were currently in the food court. She kept telling me she wanted a cookie from McDonald's so this is why we're walking over there.
I'm maneuvering my way into the crowd. Why the fuck is it so crowded today? Anyways, I finally reach McDonald's and I'm waiting in line. Alexa has her head on my shoulder while sucking on her pacifier. Suddenly she picks her head up and looks around.
"Momma? You hear dat?" She says cutely, although her voice is muffled due to the pacifier.
"Yeah, baby. Its fifth harmony, the girls you dance to everyday." I told her hearing the song boss coming from somewhere.
Alexa is still in my arms and is moving her arms, this is her way of "dancing." I chuckle at her adorable antics.
I'm called next to order what I want. I quickly order the cookies and place Alexa down and she starts whining.
"Shh, baby. Mommy has to get her money out." I say and she holds onto my leg. I get my wallet out of my purse and take out the money that I need. I give my money to the cashier and she hands me the cookies. I'm about to give the cookies to Alexa, when I notice she's not next to me. I start to freak out. I mean what mom wouldn't?
I start looking around for her and calling her name.
"Alexa... Alexa... Lexie..." I continue searching frantically. After a few minutes I am still looking for her but I can't find her.
I turn the corner and my eyes widen when I see her. But she's not by herself. She's conversing with a girl. I run towards her and she sees me.
"Momma" she reaches over to me , I don't even pay no attention to the person that had her. I pick her up and place a kiss on her forehead, feeling myself calm down slightly.
"Lexie, you can't be running away from mommy. Do you understand?" I tell her.
"I sowwy momma. I jus see girl from fif harm." She tells me. So this is why she ran away. I finally turn my attention to the person that was had Lexie.
Oh my god. It's Lauren. She's my celebrity crush. Holy fuck she's even more beautiful in person. Ok, it's not the time to be gawking over her.
"Thank y-you so much, for taking care of Lexie. Lord knows what could've happened to her if someone else had grabbed her." I said stuttering slightly.
"It's no problem at all. She's a sweet little angel. I was planning on calling you, but as little as she is I don't think she knows your number." She chuckles.
"So I decided to sit here and wait until someone came for her and it worked." She smiled.
I was at a loss for words. I was still gawking over her looks. My god she was breath taking.
"Thank you" she said blushing slightly.
Oh my god. I felt my face get hot. Did I just really say that out loud? Just shoot me now. I need to compose myself omg.
"How can I repay you for this?" I asked.
"Hmmm" she smirked.
"You can repay me by letting me take you and Lexie out for dinner on Friday." She said smiling.
"Um..." I didn't know what to say,
I looked at Lexie and she nodded her head frantically at me.
"I guess that's my answer." I said laughing.
We quickly exchanged numbers and she hugged Lexie and I before we left.
