Derek's POV
I was explaining to Erica and Boyd that it's the start of mating season. Since their mates and they found each other their hormones are everywhere! I'm giving them another spot in the building so I don't have to hear or smell them. God I hate mating season without KC.
Just as I began thinking about her, I got a text. I looked at the ID.
(Angelic Mate/KC & DerBear/Derek)
-Angelic Mate: hey DerBear, need u to come over, have to tell something in person
-DerBear: ok be there in 2 days time😘 lov u
-Angelic Mate: lov u 2😘
(End of Conversation)
I wonder what she wants to tell me?
'Who cares! We get to see our mate! Mating Season just got a whole lot better' My wolf cheered.
Maybe I'm overreacting and she's coming in heat?
'Oh yeah! We should probably call Ava to watch the pups for a few days cause we gonna hit it hard' My wolf said. God! Am I really that horny?
'It's KC coming into heat! Which means we are coming into heat! Plus, it gives us a reason to hit it' My wolf explained.
'Shut Up!' I told my wolf.
'Fine! Fine!' My wolf responded.
*2 Days Later*
KC's POV
It's been 6 days since we discovered Luna, Luke, and Ava. I've never been more determined on something in my life! Determined to kill Deucalion!
'He killed our pups! Killed a pack member! And is hunting down Scott and out mate! He is going to die!' My wolf promised. A knock on the front door broke me out of my thoughts. I slid down the railing of the staircase and walked to the door. I smiled at the sight of my mate.
'Let's take him now!' My wolf said.
'Ah geez! I'm going into heat and I completely forgot' I thought.
"Hey DerBear!" I greeted
"Hey Babe! What'd you need to talk to me about?" Derek questioned
"Oh right, um...well....it's Deucalion. A couple days ago...*sob*...Luna and Luke went missing. We went looking for them and we ended up in a warehouse...*sob*....and we found them with Ava......*sobbing erupted*...we found them....*sniffle*....dead" I finally spat out.
"Oh my god! No! Your lying!No! No!" Derek sobbed. He got up and punched the wall. He slid down the wall and sobbed. I walked over to him and we continued to sob together.
Once we calmed each other we talked about their deaths and who did it and the funeral.
"Where should they rest?" Derek asked
"Their's a spot in the woods by a river. It's perfect. We would always run around in full wolf form just to stretch our legs and let the wolf go for a while" I smiled at the memory while a single tear slid down my cheek.
"Hey, how 'bout we go to bed. We'll talk more about it in the morning" Derek offered
"Okay" I replied
We go upstairs and I undressed into a tank top and booty shorts. Derek got undressed, leaving him only in boxers. We got in bed and I slowly fell into a slumber while cuddling with Derek.
~2:34AM~
I woke up to my body tingling. I jumped out of bed and tried to gain control. It's like my wolf is begging and howling to come out.
"KC! What's wrong?" Derek asked, concern laced his husky voice
"I don't know! My wolf is taking over! I can't control it!" I responded
"KC just calm down" Derek tried but nothing helped
'THEIR NOT GONE!' My wolf screamed in my head
'Who's not gone?' I asked
'Our pups! Their not gone! Their calling us!' My wolf informed me
"Derek! It's the pups! Something's happening!" I told him. I finally gave in and let my wolf take over. But something was different.
'What's wrong? Something's different!' I asked my wolf in a panic
'Our absolute full form is unlocked' My wolf growled
I suddenly started feeling a mystical heat around my, new, permit white fur. The heat wasn't discomforting but rather pleasant.
"KC-" Derek started but didn't finish due to my sudden call to the woods.
