Imogene paced around her dorm restlessly. Suddenly there was a whoosh of air behind her and she spun around.
Malcolm was sitting crosslegged on her bed. He waved happily at Imogene, who cried out in relief and threw her arms around his neck.
"Hey, stop it!" Malcolm wiggled out of her grip.
"Where did you go?" Imogene hissed. She was angry at him now. Malcolm had made them all worry.
He shrugged. "The Resistance recruited me."
"Well, you should've have sent a note!"
"I did!"
Imogene unfolded her crossed arms and reached inside her jacket pocket. She pulled out the folded piece of paper. Unfolding it, she read it aloud carefully.
Hey Guys!
Sorry to skip out! See you later!
Malcolm
Imogene crumpled up the paper and tossed it in the waste basket by her bed.
"Some note." Said Imogene, rolling her eyes.
"Well it explains everything." Malcolm argued.
Imogene sighed. "Fine." she agreed, grudgingly. "I'll call Catherine and Caleb."
She pressed a vein on her left arm. It glowed a bright blue color and she spoke into it. "Catherine and Caleb."
"It still amazes me the codes that Caleb makes up actually works." said Malcolm laying down on the bed.
In a few moments, Catherine and Caleb appeared on the bed. Catherine landed on Malcolm and Caleb was perched on the headboard of the bed. Catherine and Malcolm rolled around on the bed for a few minutes of tickling each other, and shrieking with laughter.
Imogene laughed in amusement and Caleb cleared his throat impatiently. The two stopped fighting and sat up, panting, on the bed.
"Now that that's done," Caleb said. "Malcolm, where did you go?"
"Oh. To join the Resistance of course!"
