Megan looked up as the door opened and rose to her feet, smiling at the sight of Rasheed, her days have grown lonely, spending more time on her own, however, did understand why, but it still was lonely and she missed being around him.

"Rasheed!" she fled across, throwing her arms around his neck to be gathered against his frame and kissed, walking backwards back into the room.

"Megan," he moaned. Her hands ran over his chest as she eased back looking up, running her eyes over his beloved face.

"I know, self-control, but it seems like forever since I had seen you or touched you. You did say you wouldn't mind being touched by me," she reminded him. Rasheed smiled, brushing hair from her face.

"I know what I said Megan Ryder," he guided her over, settling on a sofa with him at her side though there was a distance between them when all she wanted to do was snuggle up against him. Lightly he caressed her arm. "You will accompany Vivian to all meals and functions under this roof until after the wedding," he stated with a sigh, sadly, "I'm sorry it has to be this way, Megan."

"I don't mind staying out of the way," she offered since Nadira's family had arrived as well and Vivian was so involved with Rasheed's family.

He shook his head. "No, however, it has to be like before."

"You mean no touching," she sighed dramatically, "no kissing in public" to lean closer, "no offering myself to entertain the troops?"

"Megan!" he warned with a deep-throated growl then kissed her. "None of the above, and more. We must keep our distance. However, I cannot have you absent from my sight. Can you do that?"

"If I must."

"You must," he insisted then sighed running a hand through his hair. Megan reached for him, she hated seeing him like this to have her hand taken and kissed. "It must be this way and no matter what you see or hear you must believe in me, can you do that?" he asked as she frowned.

"Of course, I believe in you Rasheed, I always did."

He arched a brow at that. "Really?"

"That was a bit of a shock as you know," she stated miffed, crossing her arms. Shaking his head he rose to his feet.

"Keep up that attitude and you will be perfect," he noted amused.

"Rasheed!" she protested, standing also, placing hands on her hips outraged, bringing a smile to his lips.

"Just the way I want you to be; now I must leave. I will see you at dinner tonight Megan and I mean it." Of course, he did, dropping her hands.

"I will be there," she promised.

He stepped closer, cradling her face into his hand affectingly. "Yes, you will," he leaned in closer, softly brushing her lips, bringing a sigh of pleasure from her. "Just to after the wedding," he promised.

"Then you better do better than that if there is going to be a drought," she dared. Laughing he pulled her up against him, eyes twinkling, claiming her in a passionate kiss leaving her weak, breathless and clinging to his broad shoulders. "Perfect," she purred running a hand through his dark thick luscious hair, "just like you."

"If I was so perfect, Megan Ryder, why were you giving me such a hard time," he teased to be swatted and to find herself placed at a distance.

"Rasheed," she complained, really he should be more endearing than this, she noted miffed, twitching her nose.

"There you two are. Don't tell me you two are at it again. Really children you should learn to play nicely." They both turned to the one who had entered. Megan stepped further away at the sight of Nadira's spoilt younger sister who made a beeline towards Rasheed, all smiles. Though she was more striking than Nadira she was cold and soooo self-centred. They had met briefly once and the mutual dislike came instantly.
