I fell down today and scraped my hand.

I can't believe this actually happened on my 10th birthday. It hurts so bad. It still does, even though it happened hours ago, when I was climbing out of the red dragon jumper that Pa got for my party. I lost my sock somewhere in the folds of the jumper. I still had the other sock on my foot, and it felt weird to walk around like that.

I wanted to go to the hospital, but Pa said I was fine. I don't believe him. I could have more injuries inside my body that no one can see. Sometimes, I don't like Pa.

Instead of us going to the hospital, everyone sang happy birthday to me while I sat in front of cake that was on fire. I didn't want to blow out the candles, because I do not want my spit getting on the deelishis cake. But Pa insisted. He said I was being silly. So, of course, I had no choice but to spit out my germs on the cake that everyone would be eating. And of course, I had to make a wish, because that was the rules of blowing candles that were burning on top of a cake.

I wished for the sting from the cuts on my hand to go away.

We opened presents next, and I was so so happy. I even forgot about the stupid scrapes! Pa got me this journal as a present, and my best friend, Liam, got me a stuffed green alien. I'm hugging my alien right now as I write in my journal!

My other friends got me Hello Kitty stuffs. I don't really like Hello Kitty, but I was still nice to them and said Thank You. Pa taught me to do that.

Pa made me hot chocolate before I went to bed. I made sure he put whipped cream and cinnamon on top.

Pa smiled today. He hardly ever smiles. Most of the time, I really love Pa.
