5 months later Enchanted Forest.

Scrub scrub scrub. Ignore the pain of the blister that you have gained from your knuckles hitting the floor.

How the hell is this training me how to do magic? I've learnt nothing from this Cora.

I've learnt more from the book in my room. If only I could find one to get me out of here.

"A ball!" Cora runs though the room, "a ball!" she runs into another room.

I roll my eyes. Yet another ball for her daughter she is o so proud of and I'll be stuck here, where I am meant to clean the windows, or the fire pit. I wont be though. I'll be lying out in the field, watching those two blinking stars that shine brighter than the others. My dad used to tell me that if I wish hard enough on the star that shines brightest to me it would come true.

"Mera," Cora yells at me, from the other room.

"Mara, its Mara, its not that hard," I chuck the brush into the bucket. Stand up, whipping my hands on my tatted apron.

I walk into the other room, "Yes Cora?" I look at the ground.

"This came for you," she holds a brown envelope to me.

I take it, put it in my apron and return to the other room to keep cleaning the floor.

I sit on my bed, arms and knees aching. I pull out the envelope. On the front it says 'Mara'.

"at least they spelt it right," I tell my self then carefully open it. the writing is all proper and curvy.

"Mara, it's Regina, Cora's daughter. I have hoped to meet you, giving mother invitations with you own them, but she always seems to say that you had more important things to do, instead of coming to the ball, or to tea, or any event I have asked you to. So I have sent you this letter, making more discrete. Such as one of your correspondents had sent it to you."

Correspondents. I have no correspondents. I frown at the paper then read on.

"I hope you to attend the next ball held at the castle. Dress and other items will be sent to you at the soonest opportunity. And on the night mother will leave then your carriage will arrive. Yours Regina." At the bottom is the royal seal, and I suddenly get a happy buzz. This will be my chance. I'll go then on the way home escape from the carriage, leaving. I'll find a crew and set sail, Captaining my own ship!

I sneak out of my room. And go out the the field to tell the stars my good news.

The day comes, Cora and henry leave. I get changed into the dress that came for me. a red floor length dress, putting on some black shorts underneath. I stair at myself in the cracked old. I go over to the chest and pull out one of my old belts. I put that on my waist, I put on my golden love heart necklace, and red ruby love heart earrings. I do my make up as well as I can, since its pretty much the first time I have ever done that. I stare at my self a bit longer before deciding there is something missing. I need something on my hands or wrists. I look through the things the Queen sent me that. There are diamond rings and bracelets. None of them are me. I sit on my 'bed' and stare at my black heels. I slid my hand under my one pillow, I feel a small metal round object. I pull it out. My ring, the one my father gave it to me, I pack what's most important to me in a small bag that I have done a smiple spell on to make it bigger. I go up stairs and out the front door. A golden and red carriage, pulled by two huge black horses. The driver is one of the knights but dressed in all black armor.

"Miss Killian?" the knight asks.

I nod, the door man jumps down, opens the door, pulls out the collapsible stairs and puts a hand out for me. I take it and climb in.
