Through the empty hallways, inside the palace that seemed to be quieter than ever.
Running as fast as they could, Clair and Violet started slowing down when they noticed the guards who were on the ground, beaten up almost to death.
Walking towards the slightly closed door slowly setting it open.
Looking at the prince who was lying down near the throne, Elmer was not moving at all.
Violet looked back to see Louis behind the door, he also ended up fainting after calling out for Elmer so many times without getting an answer.
"Let us take care of them"
Clair said while handing violet some tissues and medicine, leaving Louis in her care because she did treat him in front of her before.
Running to see how the first prince was doing, he had a bad fever and a sword running through his leg, she knew she had to have everything ready because the moment she will take it out the blood would flow and he could die off bleeding.
Violet tried to not panic because all the way from the throne to where Louis sat down blood drops were drawing a straight line.
He did lose a lot of blood and she finally managed to clean his wound and treat it, helping him lay down so that he regains consciousness faster.
Clair on the other hand was starting to panic but she knew she could save Elmer and did not want to let her emotion get in the way
"This is going to hurt prince Elmer"
She said holding the sword tightly in between her hands then taking a deep breath before pulling it out slowly to make sure it would not cut his insides more than they were already cut.
Elmer's screaming voice woke Louis up immediately he tried to move but violet stopped him.
"Elmer, how is he doing"
Louis asked.
"Clair is taking care of him"
Violet replied, helping him lay back down again.
'Leo ran away, he will die anyways, where is Edmund? And where is Ivor I did not see him since then, ah everything is tiring me when will this end?'
The second prince thought to himself while clearly hearing Elmer struggle in pain.
""It will be over soon my prince, stay awake"
Clair said while putting a great pressure into his wound wrapping it up in tight layers of tissues.
"We need to get them out of here, we need more supplies to make sure these wounds are properly dealt with"
Clair said looking back at violet
"Um I don't think the both of us can carry one of them so what are you on?"
Violet asked.
The moment she did she could hear some footsteps rushing towards them.
It was no there than the trainees who have been lost around the palace for a while and finally managed to find the throne room.
"LET US HELP"
Victor shouted.
Far away from the throne room, another lead of blood drops drawing a line behind Leo.
He had been struggling to see and walk for a good while, and he did not feel like taking another step forward.
But his eyes spotted a human figure from a far, the closer he walked towards him the more familiar he felt.
