**Jessica**

"Catch." I said throwing a blueberry in his mouth. He tapped my nose and I laughed.

"Here."he said handing me a box with a black ribbon.

"Matt."I said and he smiled.

"Open it." he said and I sighed. I tugged on the ribbon and it untied. I opened the box seeing s gold necklace.

Was I graced into the heart shaped necklace. I smiled and he
put it around my neck.

"Just a little something." he said and I smiled. He took his phone playing a thousand years.

"May u have this dance." he said and I let out a small giggle.

"Yes you may." I said taking his hand. We slowly danced as he spun me around. We looked into each other's eyes and he leaned in kissing me. Once the song was over we sat down.

"Jess." he said and I looked up.

"I'm going on tour and I leave next week." he said and I nodded taking a bite of my sandwich.

"Yeah." I sighed and he placed his hand on top of mine.

"Don't worry okay." he said and I nodded.

"Matthew Lee!" I shouted as he smeared peanut butter all over my face.

"Sorry." he smirked as I took jelly from my sandwich and smushed it on his face. I stood up as he chased me with the ice tea glass.

"No!" I laughed as he poured it over my head. I shook my head getting drops of the ice tea on his face. He kissed me and it surprised me.

"Just like our first kiss." he smiled.

"Just like." I said.

"Jess you got mail." Mom said and I took it seeing the words

New York Arts

My heart started pouring as I sat on the stairs deciding if I should open it. I finally got the guts to open it and read the letter.

Dear, Miss. Jessica Dallas

We loved your application and we would love if you decide to come to New York Arts. We are giving your a half scholarship. We hope to see you next year in school. Please let us know by the end of July.

I smiled and ran up to Matt's room.

"I got in!" I shouted showing him the the paper.

"Awesome."he said hugging me.

"Yeah I hope you get in too." I sighed.

"Well if you got the paper I most certainly did too." he said showing me the paper.

"Your too!" I shouted dancing around.

"You're too cute." he said and I laughed.

"Guys dinner." my mom yelled and we ran down the stairs. Once I was sitting the phone went off an I ran to it answering it. I dropped the phone once they told me.

"Jess what's wrong?" my mom asked.

"Sierra died." I said.
