Chapter 19

**Matthew**

"Uh Jess." I say and she snaps her head up pulling off her glasses.

"Yes." she answers.

"My parents are in town and they wanted to invite you to dinner with them." I say and she smiles.

"I'd love to go."she answers and I smile.

"Are you going?" she asked pushing her glasses back on continuing her homework.

"Yeah they are my parents." I sad kneeling down by her looking at her writing.

"Yeah yeah smart ass." she said and I chuckled.

"Your cute." I say and red filled her cheeks.

"Thanks." she smiled looking at me.

"You too." she replied kissing the top of my nose.

"I was wonder what do you wanna do before we go?" I asked.

"Well if you didn't know finals are in a couple of weeks so I have to continue studying and continue dreadful homework."she said and I groaned.

"Let's just do something like go out somewhere."I say and she sighs.

"Fine let's do you what you want!"she shouted throwing her pencil and glasses on the ground.

"Jess." I sigh.

"No Matthew your gonna bug me about this so let's just go." she said I ran down following her grabbing my keys. We get in the car and she looks out the window.

"What ever happened to your child?" she asks as I pull out of the driveway.

"What do you mean?" I ask pulling into the ramp to the parkway.

"You heard me what happened to your daughter?" she says looking at me but I keep my eyes on the road.

"I gave her away." I replied.

"Huh?" she asks.

"Jess I put her up from adoption!" I shout seeing her flinch from the corner of my eye.

"For you." I mumbled.

"Yeah I forgot Matt I'm the reason you give up everything yeah yeah."she says and I roll my eyes.

"Jess all I want to do is have a nice evening with you now why can't you just have a good time with out being a nasty bitch." I said and her head snapped towards me.

"Bring me home!"she shouted and I rolled my eyes.

"Why is it because I called you a bitch." I said and she stiffened her body.

"Stop it!"she yelled and I rolled my eyes again.

"What has gotten into you?" she asks raising her voice.

"You Jessica your nasty little remarks have gotten to me I do my best to be the nicest to you and all you are is nasty. I want to have a good time but you have to complain about something! I'm sick and tired of hearing you snobby voice go on and on about something!" I yelled and her face was red and tears dropped down her face.

"Jessica stop with the water works." I say and she swiftly wipes them away. I pulled to the side looking at her. She looked the opposite way.

"Are you going to have a good time or cry about the truth I just spilled on you." I said and tears dropped out of her eyes as anger filled her face.

"No Matthew I have no clue what the actual fuck has gotten into you but I'm done with it. I want to have a good time with you too but you just keep telling me about all this awful and hurtful stuff to me! What kind of boyfriend does that! Your suppose to tell me I'm perfect and tell me you love my flaws not yell at me in a car saying how I'm a bitch!" she screamed at me and I sighed letting it go.

"Bring me home." she said and I turned around.

"So are you gonna apologize?" she says and I roll my eyes getting out of the car.

"Maybe we should bre-" I quickly cut her off.

"No Jessica you need to learn that a girlfriend and boyfriend fight." I say walking inside.

"So that's just the end." she said.

"Yes it is Jessica because wanna no what. We are fighting and maybe you should do some reading on what happens when a girlfriend and boyfriend fight." I said.

"Would you quit calling me Jessica!" she shouted and I slammed the door locking it.

"I guess dinner with your parents is off." she said and I sighed.
