They drove past the busy streets on their way to the dorm. After calling Eunwoo's cousin, who was a cop, and striking a deal, they immediately reported back and took action as they drove to the said location. They were going to the dorm.

Eunwoo's eyes were glued to the road, trying to follow the police cars while Jake, in the passenger seat, clenched his fist, praying they would manage and get over this sooner.

On the other hand, Jay had been quietly shedding tears in the back. He kept whispering words over and over again, sweat dripping from his forehead.

"Uhm..." he heard Eunwoo hum.

A silent atmosphere had filled the car since the call. None of them spoke. Each was lost in their own thoughts. Until Eunwoo broke the silence.

"Jay... I'm... I'm really sorry for doubting you..." he apologized, gripping his steering wheel as he took a deep breath, his eyes focused on the road.

Jay and Jake looked at him. Eunwoo sighed loudly and pressed his lips together in a thin line.

"Especially those words I threw at you back there... I'm really sorry..." He said quietly.

The other two lowered their heads and said quietly and coldly, "Let's just forget it."

Jake looked over his shoulder at Jay. Somehow, he wanted to tell Eunwoo that what he said earlier was somewhat true and he was wrong for throwing those words at Jay, who hadn't done anything shameful to Sunoo.

It should have been him. Eunwoo should have doubted him, not Jay. And maybe, he wouldn't even hesitate to ask Eunwoo to punch him right then and there. He deserved it.

Guilt consumed him; he wanted to kill himself at that moment, knowing this situation happened because of him. Because he started it.

Hot tears streamed down his cheek, and he turned away to the window to hide them. He didn't want Jay to see him crying again. He hated it whenever Jay told him it wasn't his fault when, in truth, it all started because of him! How could he not have seen it!?

Jake silently wept. His eyes, throat, and chest burned, itched, and ached. And one thing was certain: he would never forgive himself.

Just then, the car engine slowed.

"We're here," Eunwoo announced quickly, stopping the engine, his tone panicked. He didn't wait for the others to react as he hurriedly stepped outside and approached his cousin, who had just gotten out of his car. Other officers came out as well, and they immediately approached the door.

Jay's chest heaved, as did Jake's. They hurriedly came outside and helplessly watched the police officers trying to unlock the door quietly. It needed a key, and Jay and Jake hadn't brought their spares.

"You and your friends stay here. We'll handle this, understand?"
