Spoiled

Prologue

      On a far away land, long long ago, there were two kingdoms. One of them was the Kingdom of Amethyst Cascada. The other was called the Kingdom of Hillsene. These kingdoms were surrounded by Magic and Land. The land, which was very fertile, was divided directly in half. Unfortunately, a very treasured palace, The Summer Star Palace, lay directly on the border. The Kingdom of Amethyst Cascada claimed the palace and rented it out, with high fees, to the Hillsene. The Hillsene, with a small army and no foreign ambassadors, had no choice but to pay the fees.

      And then, there was the matter of magic. These kingdoms had long since been surrounded by magical people. Fairies, sprites, wizards... But there were also the unwanted, the ogres, centaurs, and dwarves, and the strange and unknown, mailessoners and emotions.

      Eventually, the humans became afraid of these magical people, and authorized that all Magicals be pushed into the woods, or the dark and beyond. Most of the un-humanlike magicals had to leave(ogres, centaurs, etc,) but the others(fairies, sprites, etc,) got to stay so long as their powers were hidden. The most powerful of all the Magicals are Emotions. They are seldom seen but most of the wars originated from these mischievously naughty creatures. The Emotions have the ability to do all sorts of mental mischief. Then come the Wizards. But they are so mellow and kind, they couldn't imagine not obeying the new law, and they all decided to move into the forest. Then come the fairies. These are quite common and they aren't afraid to show their powers. They are temperamental creatures and will do anything to achieve their own ends. Only slightly less powerful than the fairies, are Mailessoners. Though because they have only taught each other the magical techniques for self defense and mental (positive)influence, they have forgotten how powerful they once were. Then come the sprites. Sprites are quite possibly the most intelligent. They are the only kind of Magical with different power specialties within there group, and they use their powers wisely. The unwanted creatures have minimal powers, usually directed towards food, but are strong physically.

      This story is may be about a spoiled young princess, but like all fairy tales, it's also about someone with a more rational and amiable personality. Oh, and did I mention magic and fairies?

      Our story begins in the Kingdom of Cascada...
