The flames cleared and they walked into a dark room. To Bellatrix's surprise the place smelt like it was being kept up in Chandra's absence. Hermione walked to the wall and flipped a switch, flooding the room with light. Bella looked around.
The living area alone was massive. She chuckled. And walked over to the archway leading to the rest of the house. She couldn't even see the end of the hall. And the ceiling had to be well over six foot high. She let out another chuckle. Hermione gave her an odd look.
"What?"
"She sure put daddy's money to use. I didn't think muggles had dwelling of this size. It is bigger than mine."
"She didn't buy it. She spent years building it. The muggle way. Much more effort."
Hermione walked off going to a room off of the living room. Bellatrix stood there for a moment. Maybe it was too soon to insult Chandra. She made her way into the room to find that it was a well organized library. Hermione already had a book in her hand, reading something. She quickly shut it and looked at Bellatrix.
"Do you have a blade?"
"I have my dagger... but it's cursed."
Hermione huffed and left the room, Bellatrix trailing behind her. They went through the archway and into a massive dining room that was quite impressive in Bella's opinion. They went through a small side door and they ended up in the kitchen. Bella walked around, looking at all the muggle contraptions while Hermione grabbed a knife.
Hermione, finding a good sharp blade, turned to see Bella lurking around the kitchen. Looking like a scared cat walking slowly on it's toes with it's back arched. She walked up to her and sat the knife on the counter. Bella's brows were knitted together as she studied the refrigerator.
"What is all of this?"
"It's a refrigerator. It keeps food cold and fresh. Muggles don't have spells and enchantments for that."
Hermione opened it and the freezer compartment. Bella looked at all the packages and bottles and gave a weird look. As she reached for the door. She slowly closed it, shaking the cold away. She glanced over to the stove. Hermione smiled lightly and brought her up to it.
"Bella, it's just a range and oven. I know it's nothing like ours but it's safe."
Hermione turned on one of the burners and put Bellatrix's hand over it. Bella tilted her head as it warmed up quickly and Hermione let out a chuckle. Bellatrix then quickly pressed one of the buttons and the clock started flashing. Hermione held it down until it went back to normal and turned the burner off.
"I see I will have to teach you how to use it all."
"There is more?"
Hermione smiled at the dark witch's childlike curiosity.
"Yes, Bella. There is a lot more. They have machines while wizards have magic. Now are you ready to do this? Before you get scared and blow up any of Chandra's things."
Almost an hour later they were in a room on Chandra's second floor. Hermione had completely 'ruined' the room. She had a protection circle drawn out and the blade ready. She pulled Bellatrix to the center of the circle and put her hand out. Bellatrix gave her her hand. Hermione took the blade and cut her hand open then did the same to Bella.
Bella felt a bit odd as Hermione dripped a few drops of blood in her hand. Hermione held her wand benieth Bella's hand, a strange orange glow coming from it. Bellatrix watched in awe as the blood in her hand began to swirl and mix. Hermione clasped her hand around Bellatrix's, blood dripping to the hardwood floor.
Bella's stomach churned. Their hands began burning and she felt sick. Maybe she wasn't entirely to sure about this. When Hermione let go their hands were healed and the Gryffindor turned to leave the room. Bellatrix stopped her.
"Is...is that it?"
"Yeah. That's it."
Bellatix looked around the room then back to Hermione.
"Well are you sure we did it right. I started feeling sickly near the end. Maybe we made a mistake somewhere."
Hermione nodded and checked her phone. Bellatrix's time was nearly up. She felt her skin tighten. She wasn't stupid. She knows what Rod meant by 'duties' he said that to stake claim In Front of Hermione. Now she had to know that her woman was going to go fuck someone else when she left here. She shrugged and looked at Bella.
"If we did we will know shortly. But you have an hour to get home. You have business to attend to."
Bellatrix could feel the depressive undertone when she said that. She couldn't even get angry with her over it. She was right.
"I am sorry, pet."
Hermione nodded.
"Yeah... just don't try to get yourself pregnant, don't need two right now."
Bella went over to her and went in for a kiss, only for her to move her face a bit. The dark witch looked down, mentally cursing herself for her situation. She looked at the down looking girl and placed a small kiss on her cheek before leaving, never saying another word.
By the time Hermione got back to her common room it was time to get ready for class. Hermione struggled to make it through her classes. The weight of absolutely no sleep and the thought of Rod defiling Bella made her feel absolutely drained. By the time she got to the DA meeting she was practically dragging her feet.
She saw Chandra watching Luna from a distance. She looked off. Usually she was laughing at everyone in the meetings. But today she stood there, watching Luna intently, sporting a bracer on her left arm that was much larger than her normal one. Hermione sighed. Chandra was a Deatheater now and there wasn't anything she could do about it. She walked over to her older cousin and could instantly tell where Bellatrix took out her aggression. Chandra's lips seemed to not sit right. Her body was used to have a very prominent overbite along with large front teeth. It seems that Bellatrix had caused her to lose some teeth. Hermione sighed and rubbed her neck. She had sent Neville flying at the beginning of the mission. And of course Chandra didn't react like she usually did. There...she found her opening subject.
"Not feeling well, Chandra? You're usually laughing when that happens?"
She looked at her from the corner of her eye. The tall ginger glared at me but went back to watching her girlfriend.
"Yeah I would... if I didn't get half my top row of teeth knocked out."
Hermione gave her a questioning glance. She knew Bellatrix did something Hermione thought it best to act oblivious to the subject. Chandra kept her gaze on Luna as she spoke.
"Your woman threw a temper tantrum and I got in the middle of it."
"Well you're good at that."
The Hufflepuff rolled her eyes. Hermione looked over to Luna to find her dueling with Ginny. A spell hurled toward Luna and she blocked it perfectly. Hermione, impressed, went to comment on their duel to Chandra.
"They have gotten amazing. I never thought Luna would have been that strong. Her and Ginny play off of each other well. Too bad they didn't work out though."
Chandra went rigid and Hermione backed up a bit. Maybe she should have stopped at the complement. Because now Chandra was staring in their direction, not blinking at all. Hermione feared that she just put Ginny in Chandra's line of fire.
After a few moments of tense silence Hermione went to tap Chandra's shoulder. But she whipped around, giving Her a weird look. Hermione watched as the look faded to confusion and slowly contorted into fear. Chandra jerked and twitched throughout it all. Luna, being done with her duel noticed it and went up to her.
"Babe?"
Nothing.
"Babe?"
Chandra didn't even acknowledge that Luna was talking to her. It looked as if she was searching the room for an escape as her chest heaved up and down. Luna went to grab her hand but barley missed it as Chandra bolted out of the room of requirement. Luna ran after her. Leaving Hermione confused and feeling a bit guilty.
