Chapter 3

*Ty's POV*

"Woah this girl is really good! I wonder if she'll care if I tweet it out, surely not" I thought this to myself as I was watching Minecraft videos on YouTube. Maybe I should shoot her a message.

I messaged her and she replied back later. We talked for a while and decided to do a video together. I gave her my Skype and started the call.

My heart was racing right as we were about to start recording. I don't know why, but there was something different about her- something, special.

"Three, two, one", I count down to the video. "Hey guys, I'm Deadlox and today I'm here with a new friend of mine!"

"Hi everyone!"

I went to speak again but nothing came out, I just sat there.

"Ty? Are you ok?"

"Oh, oh! I'm sorry." I returned back from fantasy land and realized what just happened. "Let's start over."

"Haha ok!", she giggled back.

"I knew she couldn't see me, and that's a good thing right now." My face is completely red."

*My POV*

"I wonder what happened." I thought to myself, "Hope he's okay."

Ty restarts the countdown and we start recording. We play for a few hours, many episodes worth, I start to get tired and say that we should call it good for the day.

"Okay sounds good to me!", said Ty.

"Same time tomorrow?"

"Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to do something else tomorrow- If you want."

"Sure! What are you thinking?"

"Maybe going to get something to eat. I can pick you up if you want."

"Oh, of course!"

My stomach twists and turns. "Did he just ask me out?!", I think to myself, "Tomorrow's going to be the best day ever!"

*Ty's POV*

"What to wear, what to wear!" I say as I'm digging through my clothes. "I have to impress her!"

This was going to be the first time we've met IRL. Apparently we both lived in the same city, what a coincidence!"

I finally ended up wearing what I choose most everyday- a button up plaid shirt and skinny jeans. I grab my new cologne, spray some on, and walk out the door.

"I don't know if I can do this." I think to myself, "What if she doesn't like me?" My stomach is in knots as I ponder how the day is going to go. There is something so different about her, something special, that I've never seen in anyone before.

I pull up to her address and walk up to the door. I ring the doorbell and she answers in a few seconds. She looked amazing. I couldn't take my eyes off her and the beautiful yellow sundress she was wearing. It was so casual, yet so perfect.

"Is it okay?" She asks me, slightly twirling her dress.

"Oh, of course! It's perfect" I am barely able to stutter those words as I felt my face go completely red.

"Thank you", she giggles and walks to my car. I chase ahead of her and open the passenger side door.

"Here you go" We both smile and she gets in the car.

"I can do this.", I tell myself as I walk back around to my side.
