Chapter 4

*My POV*

"So, where are we going?" I ask Ty.

"Oh nowhere- It's a surprise" He smirks back to me

He's so cute, and I think he feels the same way that I do.

We get to our destination, it's a beautiful park. There is a glistening pond about 20 feet from a blanket that I see spread out on the ground. Ty comes around and opens my door, then opens the back and grabs out a picnic basket.

"This is beautiful!" I was in awe

"I know, this was my favorite place to go in highschool, it was nice just to come and think."

I started to think about one of our conversations we had once, Ty was talking about how he was bullied all through school and he would retreat to his safe haven. How could anyone ever be mean to him? He's perfect.

We sit down and Ty opens up the picnic basket, he made sandwiches.

"Now I know this is supposed to be your job, but I'll let it pass, once." Ty teased.

"Psh whatever!" I laughed back. "You'll be surviving off cereal and toast if you expect me to cook"

"We can make that work" Ty smirked

We walk around the park for about an hour, laughing and telling stories. We sit down on a bench under a huge oak tree.

"Nicole", Ty said grabbing my hand, "I know we've just met, but it feels like I've known you forever"

My heart skipped a beat as I heard these words. It seemed like an eternity as we sat in silence, his chocolate brown eyes staring into mine.

"S-Same here" I was barely able to speak.

We sat in silence once more, as I watched Ty start to close his eyes, he starts to lean toward me.

"What do I do?!", I think to myself, "I've never kissed a guy before! Oh no, what if I screw up, will he not like me?!" Ty's getting closer by the millisecond.

I lean in and accept the kiss, I start to kiss him back and I can feel his smile on my lips. He wraps his arm around my waist an pulls me closer to him. Electricity runs through my body, this is something I've never felt before- and I liked it.

Ty pulls away from the kiss, "So, I take it you like me?" He was so charming.

"I guess you could say that"

"Well in that case", he softly kissed my forehead, "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

"I've been waiting for you to ask that", I replied.

Ty leaned back in and kissed me once more, them we spent the rest of the evening hand in hand, my head on his shoulder, occasionally kissing, at the park.

"I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot more time here" I said

"Me too" I see Ty start to blush, and it makes me blush an even darker shade of red.

I am in love.
