The lunch bell rang; Ethan and Amelia made their way to the lunch hall where they had earlier agreed to meet Sammie and Grace. They reached their destination to find the two girls already sitting there, Sammie was laughing while Grace looked like she was about to jump across the table and beat the crap out of her.

"Honestly Sammie I would stop before she actually attacks you" Ethan said half seriously looking to Sammie.

Sammie looked to Ethan before frowning at him and focused her attention to the food in front of her.

"Why do you have to annoy her so much?" Amelia questioned looking to the blonde girl who was currently looking at her with half a sandwich hanging out of her mouth.

"Because...She" Sammie tried to speak causing parts of her sandwich to go everywhere, she help her hand signalling for the rest of the group to stay silent while she emptied her mouth "Because she gets agitated so easily and its funny" Sammie finally managed to say.

"I hate her" Grace said half seriously.

"You love me" Sammie informed Grace "Deep down you love me" She continued smirking at the smaller girl.

Grace shook her head and rolled her eyes before turning her attention to the figure standing behind Amelia.

Amelia suddenly felt warm breath on the side of her cheek followed by a pair of rough, chapped lips. Recognition hit her and she shivered under the touch of the familiar pair of lips she moved her head to turn and look the familiar face.

"Hey beautiful" Kyle said looking at Amelia before taking a seat beside her at the lunch table where they were seated.

"Kyle...hi" Amelia replied smiling at her boyfriend which was now seated next to her.

"Hey" Kyle said looking to the rest of the group to which they all replied before returning to their own conversations and their lunches.

"How are you" Kyle said returning his attention to his girlfriend.

"I'm great" Amelia replied rubbing the side of her head accidentally revealing her bruise once again.

Kyle swiftly reached for Amelia's hand gently and held it in his own before guiding under the table out of sight of everyone else, he then pulled Amelia's sweater arm down a little before wrapping his hand around her wrist as hard as he possibly could and before Amelia could cry out in pain Kyle had pulled the smaller girl into a rough and messy kiss.

"You guys are so cute" Grace commented at the couple in front of her unaware of her friend's pain.

Kyle pulled away from Amelia never moving his hand from her wrist.

"She is adorable" Kyle replied to Grace's comment smiling and using his free hand to stroke the side of his girlfriends face, Amelia managed to force out a convincing smile.

Kyle finally released Amelia's wrist and turned his attention to the blonde girl sitting across the table from him.

"Are you at softball practice tonight?" He asked Sammie like nothing had just happened.

"Of course why wouldn't I be?" Sammie replied smiling at her team mate.

Amelia rubbed her wrist in the place Kyle had just had his hand, what the fuck why would he do that to her publicly.

Fucking asshole she thought to herself.

Amelia suddenly lost track of the conversations happening around her as she looked up to notice the familiar face she was fascinated with earlier, Amelia watched as the dark haired girl across the room sat down at a lunch table only a few tables away with a boy, who she assumed was her boyfriend. The boy had dark curly hair and dark black eyes his facial features were sharp he was in a deep conversation with the beautiful but messy girl beside him. What was it about those two were they new here? Amelia has never seen them around before she defiantly would have remembered if she had. Amelia watched the two interact and studied them both closely the curly haired boy was talking to Mara about something while she was looking at him in amusement. Amelia had become completely unaware of her staring again but it was too late Mara had felt that she was being watched and turned to look in Amelia's direction, Amelia smiled at the girl before turning her head back to the conversation happening within her own table. She stayed like this for the rest of the lunch period in fear of being caught looking at the girl again, without reason.
