Chapter 3

We finished dinner, and Junior had left. I was washing the dishes while Chres was feeding Tiana. "Chres don't forget Tia, has a doctors appointment tomorrow at 9am." I said drying a bowl. I glanced back at him as he had a confused look on his face.

"I thought you said Friday" he asked. "Yea, I said that on Monday, its Thursday chres" I turned off the water and turned towards him leaning over the island. "It is? Damn this week went by quick... but you coming with me right?" he asked. I shook my head. "I cant, I have an Exam in my Literature."

He nodded. "Can you give her a bath?" I asked. He stared at me. "I did it last.. matter of fact I always give her bath, its your turn"  

"But Ion know how to bathe her, what if I make the water too hot or too cold?" he asked. "Cmon'' I told him, as he followed me into the bathroom. I cut on the hot water, then stopped up the tub. Then cut on the cold water making it nuke warm. I put her bathing seat in the water. "Take her clothes off, then sit her in the seat" chres did what I said, and we both sat on the edge of the tub, as he used her wash cloth to pour water on her chubby body. She was making spit bubbles, and kicking her feet as her big hazel eyes met up with Chres's.

"See its not hard is it?" I asked. He smiled and shook his head, adding a little soap then washing her. "So how do I wash her back?" he asked. "Just lift her up, but be- carful.. then after that wash her head." I said. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

"I got it" I said and left the bathroom. I opened the door, and it was Alisha, she was slightly wet from thr rain that was falling, and her eyes were red and puffy, she aslo had two big bags on her shoulders.. I quickly pulled her in closing and locking the door. "Girl? whats wrong?" I asked hugging her, she dropped her bags hugging me back and cried more into my shoulder. I walked over to the couch and we both sat down. "What happened?" I asked having an idea.

"N-nicko.. Happened" she said. Then she told me the whole story. I shook my head once she finished. "So? Tanya broke up with him too?" I asked. She nodded slightly. "Yea sh-" She then stopped and looked up at me with a confused look. "What?" I asked. "How'd you know her name? I never mentioned her actual name.. better yet ian even know her real name" she said. My eyes widened as I realized what I said. FUCK.

"Did you know already?" She asked, when I didn't say anything she grew angry. "What the fuck? you knew? why didn't you tell me!" She stood up, I stood up also. "I didn't want your feelings to be hurt, plus Nicko said he was gonna tell you after you got over the whole miscarriage thing" I said truthfully.

"Wow! so instead you just want me to walk around looking stupid instead of telling me you knew about that bitch! what kind of friend are you? I swear I can never trust anyone!" she pushed past me, grabbed her bags, and walked back out into the rain. "Lisha! wait" I stood in the doorway, watching her get into her car, starting it up and driving off. I sighed heavily, and went back inside closing and locking the door. Chres soon came out the bathroom with Tia in his arms wrapped in her little baby robe.

I smiled and walked over to him. "Who was that? What happened" He asked. "It was Alisha...She found out about Nicko and Tanya. She didn't know her name, but I said it and.. Yea she got mad and drove off" I explained. He sighed. "Its gon be ok, she'll get over it"

"I guess" I whispered, he kissed my cheek. "Say goodnight mommy" he said in a baby voice bending Tiana down to my face. I giggled. "Goodnight Mama's" I said and kissed her cheek. He then took in her room to get her ready for bed. I went into our room, and stripped from my clothes, laying under the covers only in my white tank, and white victorria secret laced underwear. I leaned up against the head board thinking about Alisha, I know she'll never forgive me I know she wont.
