_〆(。。) CHAPTER THREE
I knew it. I always thought he was shady, but I can't believe he would do this to Sasha. Whoever messes with her messes with ME. And he messed with her, alright.
So maybe I should explain before I jump into a huge rant and track Nathan down and beat the crap out of him.
Long story short, Nathan thought that after all , he changed his mind about going to prom with Sasha. He let her down the hard way.
What a fuck!ng douche. So that basically explains why my best friend is sobbing into my pillow.
"Hey, he was a jerk anyways. He doesn't deserve you."
Sasha hugged me, mascara dripping down her face. "Thanks Whitney, but-"
And everything went downhill from there.
***
"Whitney! WHITNEY!"
I was sure someone had glued my eyelids together. When I finally pulled them open I was greeted with a face hovering inches from my own. I shot up, startled. The rough ground scratched my back painfully.
"OW!" Sasha rubbed her head. "Watch it."
"Sorry." I looked around. "Where are we?"
Sasha's eyes teared up. "I'm so sorry."
"Huh?" I looked around. I lay in the middle of an unfamiliar street. Dim, nearly nonexistent streetlights blinked at me, blurring my vision.
"I just couldn't control my emotions, and it automatically took us back." Sasha put her head in her hands. "I'm so stupid."
"Back where?"
She raised her head and her mascara-streaked eyes met mine.
"Back in time."
