Kotetsu's P.O.V:

I ran to the bottom floor, into the nurses office. Knowing that there Will be medical supplies in there, I grabbed a bag from ontop of the desk, and shoved all of the bandages, and other supplies from the cabinets. Walking out the office, I cautiously made my way to the art room. Upon entering, all of my friends eyes were on me. "What?", I asked genuinely confused. "Well mister soon to be doctor, you took forever gathering your supplies", Caleb responded. "I wasn't just going to barge into a room! Who knows if those things were in there! "

"Point taken. Now let's review what we have", Nathaniel said. We all put our supplies on the desk, examining what we have. Hammer, Hatchet, machete, medical tape, gauze's, alcohol (for cuts, etc.), bandages, and packed lunches from the cafeteria. "Holy shit. Where were you able to find these weapons! ", I asked, shock evident in my voice.

"The gardening club had these away in their shack. It was luck that the school janitor didn't notice and stored them away somewhere else", Alvin responded in a matter-of-fact tone. I put the medical supplies back in the bag, and on my back. "Hey Caleb, do you mind if Alvin takes hold of the machete, seeing as he goes camping all the time, he is pretty experienced, am I right Al?"

"Yea. Hey Caleb, do you mind if you take the hammer. With you being handy with tools you can fix things, as well as get yes into things", Alvin answered. "It's cool, then Nathaniel can take the hatchet, don't worry Kotestu, we'll protect you until we find more weapons, them we can be a gang. Although we need a name? "Caleb said.

"That's the least of our worries right now. What we need to do is find a way to get out without anyone knowing, and without any of us getting caught by those things outside", I asked, concerned that we won't be able to leave after all. Footsteps could be heard from outside the door.

~groan~

Our bodies froze in place. The door started shaking vigorously, as whoever was behind it was desperate to get in. "Alvin, whatever Comes through that door, kill it", I commanded, fear driven as I didn't know what to expect.

*BANG*

The door broke into pieces, and what came inside was a zombie in the flesh. I quickly backed up to the wall as Alvin carefully approached it, cutting deeply into its skull. "Guess playing those zombie games payed of after all"Alvin said, each word coming out a bit distorted as he was shaking heavily with fear. If that zombie made its way here then there are bound to be others walking around the school. Oh god. That means, everyone in the auditorium would be-

"Kotestu, snap out of it. There's an exit on the staircase going to the gym, we need to be alert, there could be more of those zombies wandering the halls", Nathaniel spoke hesitantly. Who wouldn't, were all scared, Sheesh, just playing the games we scary enough, but now it's really happening. Nathaniel and Alvin were in the front as me and Caleb were in the back.

It seemed like forever, cautiously turning corners. Until an exit sign was in sight, both Alvin and Nathaniel rushed to open the doors, two zombies be spotted in the distant crossing the street. "If you want, we can check the houses and seek shelter, who's knows, we could meet up with other survivors", Nathaniel stated. The rest of us simply nodded in agreement as we couldn't think of anything better.

Slowly walking through the backyards of the houses, a scream was heard in the distance. We all bolted towards the area the scream originated from. Caleb, being a bit more muscular than the rest of us, kicked down the door. Only for us to be greeted with a horrific scene. A little girl huddled in a corner crying uncontrollably, as a zombie was eating what we assumed to be her mother.

Nathaniel quickly swung his hatchet at the pesky creature. Only for it to get stuck in its head. Nathaniel sped to our side in fear. Alvin quickly rushed over and repeatedly swung at the zombies head, making sure it's dead. Pulling the hatchet out of its head, Alvin handed it to Nathaniel, "here". I walked over to the girl, Knowing to her height. "Hey, everything's going to be fine. We'll protect you" I said stretching my hands forward for her to take. "Kotestu, are you sure it's a good idea for us to take this kid", said Caleb.

Said kid responded, "I have a name! Is Luna." I laughed at her outburst. "We can't just leave her here, would you leave a child to die?"I asked. "Fine whatever, so how old are you Luna? ". She was hesitant at first but then responded, "Im 6".
