Waiting for Pups

Ruby' POV

      Both Kora and i were pregnant. I was having two and she was having one. I knew we had to move to a warmer place before the pups arrived, but we still had two and a half months till then. We were planning on migrating to North Dakota for the arrival of pups. Lily said she wasn't planning on having any kittens any time soon.

Kora's POV

      I wanted more than one pup but it wasn't my choice how many I had. I wanted at least three, but it was ok since next year I will have another litter. Hopefully I would have more pups. I asked Ruby if she wanted more or less and she said more as well. I asked Boon and Auto. Boon said more, and Auto thought two was enough. He also said that he hoped Lily was gone before she had kittens, because he didn't want his pups, mine or Lily's to like outsiders that would attack them.

Lily's POV

      I knew why Auto said it would be best to leave before they had pups around and had my kittens, and I felt the same. I told him that I would stay here while they were migrating. He said that was fine and I could use the water cave if I needed. I told him that when they got back I would have kittens. He said that's when they could be raised around each other but that I had to use the water cave from then, on just incase family members of mine or his came to visit. I said that was fine with me.

Boon's POV

      Every one was sad Lily had to leave Expect me I didn't really care I acted sad though so I would be kicked out of the pack. I didn't want to have to leave Kora, get my tail cropped, or leave the pup without a dad. I didn't want my pup to explain to other wolves why I wadn't there, and then have the pack chased down to kill Lily cause then Auto and the rest would kill me. I knew once we migrated I didn't have to mention her cause then the pups would be around. and I had to watch  my language especially the word " duck." I wouldn't know if they would understand the two good way's or if Kora and Ruby would yell at me, including Lily when we got back from ND.

A/N: it's about to skip two months because this is the last chapter in Book 1, and they will just live normal wolf lives. Pepper, Donnie, and Siren will return in Book 2. Siren won't be around the pups or kittens though.

Auto's POV

      It was time to migrate and every thing was ready. We had some food for the trip, and a couple braches for helping destroy sent marks. I showed every one the trail to the water cave. We left Lily there too so she could wait. We said our good bye's and left.
