The Hunt

Auto's POV

      It was the second day Lily had been there. Every one got to know her and liked her, and she liked them. " fuu " I exclaimed. " We left the turkey feathers at the cave."We need them to help draw in the turkeys" Keni said. Lily looked at Keni and replied" I can run back and get them if you want." I said that it was fine and we could find more on our hunt. We usually come back with one or two, but this time we came back with five since Lily caught three of them. Since there was five of us we each got one and it fed us for a few days. We were lucky we had Lily with us cause after that we didn't get to eat for four days. She killed a deer and brought it back on her daily walk. Every day she brought something back. The deer lasted us all almost a week, but when is was gone we resorted to the extra's. The extra's were the eyes, guts, and bones and  those lasted almost a week as well.  I wasn't surprised at Lily's power either if I ever got in a fight with her I wouldn't stand a chance, or any other wolf. No wolf would stand a chance against any bobcat. So I offered her to be the alpha for a while, but she denied the request.

Lily's POV

      The reason I denied the request to be alpha is because I felt the alpha should be male and his mate the beta. (which is Keni if you forgot) Boon and Kora didn't say much cause they didn't know if what they said would make me mad. Which I don't understand why they wouldn't talk any way if I got mad I would just say id rather not talk about it. Any ways we went to the river the next day and caught some fish, I caught the most because I was the best fisher in the country even against bears surprisingly.

Boon's POV

      I knew she was the best fisher too, because when I was a pup her mom killed my mom that's why I wasn't talking to her. I'm not sure why Kora didn't want to talk she said it hurt her throat a few days ago, I wonder if its so bad she cant talk at all now.  The only thing I didn't like about Lily was that she was smarter than me, so when figuring out how to get a buffalo down  I didn't talk.

Kora's POV

      As I went for a walk so I could avoid Lily since I don't really like her I ran into two wolves named: Donnie and Pepper. Donnie was light gray with dark grey patches, and icy blue eyes. Pepper had icy blue eyes as well, with orange fur and green paws for some odd reason, she was also a pup though Donnie was full grown. It looked like Donnie was hurt so I asked what happened. He said that they were suddenly attacked by a bear, and were running from it when I found them. He seemed nervous to tell me that for some reason. I took them back to the cave to see what Auto would think of them.

Auto's POV

      When Kora got back I noticed the other wolves fallowing. I excepted them into our pack and told them our names, and got the wolves names. I was confused at thought of a wolf having green paws so I asked her what happened. She said that she didn't really know why they were green her voice was a bit shaky. I thought that it was shaky because she didn't know what to think about us. Her brother limped over to her and comforted her, I thought he must be over protective like Kora. Lily came over and asked if she could sit, Donnie said sure.

Donnie's POV

      I watched as she sat down and asked her name. She told us her name so I told her ours. I asked where she was from, and she said she was from Idaho. I was from Alaska I told her. We where in Kenora, Ontario, Canada.  She asked if pepper has stepped in some river mud. I replied and said "must have."

Pepper's POV

      I was so confused everyone kept asking me about my green paws. Isn't that normal? I thought everyone was born with green paws! I looked around the cave at everyone's paws their paws were either white, brown, black, or grey. Donnie didn't have green paws. I thought he was special because he is the only wolf I've seen my whole life! I never saw my parents so I don't know about their paws. I looked at Donnie and he smiled at me. The whole time Lily was here Donnie stared at her even when no one was talking. I smiled back at Donnie only bigger and I knew he had a crush, but with a bobcat? Bobcats are our biggest enemy and why was she here anyway?

Keni's POV

      Pepper asked me why Lily was here, and I told her she went through some stuff and we were her resort. She also asked if I had colored paws as a pup I said once I had green paws but I fell in some one's pool and the chemicals stained them. Once Lily left  I asked Donnie what he thought about her. He said she's nice to them so far. I told him why she was here and he under "stoofeded?" He said this" I under stafeded." I laughed and knew he loved her!!! Pepper bounced around him and said" some one's got a crush!!!" over and over again. I knew she under "stoofeded" what crush ment.

Lily's POV

      I faintly herd pepper say Donnie had a crush on me and I blushed a bit. I walked over there and all fell silent. I asked what the jumping was about and I actually saw the white in Donnie and Pepper's eyes. Keni was giggling and I finally spit it out that I herd what she said, Donnie tipped his head down and whimpered. I said it was fine and called him cute his ears perked up, and he raised his head a little.

Donnie's POV

      I glared at Pepper for yelling out my feelings. She under "stoofeded" (this turned into a joke for us writers so its in the story as a replacement for stand and stood in the meaning of the words) that she was in trouble. Pepper's ears tipped down and quickly tipped back up as her pupil's shrunk. She yelped and I dashed to her side. "D-Donnie I-I see him again" Pepper whispered and I shushed her quickly.

Kora's POV

      " guys, what's Auto staring at? Why's he snarling?" I asked every one in the pack. We all surrounded him and looked at what he saw. Donnie and Pepper were the only ones not snarling the were whimpering and curled up behind us all. Once IT got closer we all stood up with our hackles up as well. Auto had his head cocked to the side and his mouth was foaming very badly. The white in his eyes was showing a little. his eyes started to bleed. We where all very nervous, and scared. Once IT got close enough we noticed he was all black and his eyes were blood red including where it should be white. Where it should have been black in his eyes they were white instead. it was very un settling.

Lily's POV

      I knew what we were facing, it was a siren. A spirit who acts nice but then infects your body making you go crazy. I knew that we were in trouble so I growled at him he was fazed slightly. I showed my size and he was even more fazed. He was almost see thru. He under "stoofeded" the returns of failing his attack. I looked at Auto his eyes were blood shot bleeding and all white other then the redness. His mouth and nose were bleeding too. He turned around looked at all of us and laughed. He pushed his way through us  and stared at pepper while still laughing violently. He picked her up and carried away. I sent Donnie to fallow.

Auto's POV

      I knew where I was taking Pepper and Donnie. I knew they would be safe there. I took them to a place where no can find them. Not even a spirit could find them there. The way was secret i stored other things there before. there was meat there to feed on and water near by. I left them there and came back to the cave to find Keni dead. I cried my eyes mouth and nose went back to normal. Siren was there. He asked where I took them. I didn't not answer of coarse. I was to fazed to talk at all.

Donnie's POV

      Pepper was whimpering so I sat by her and comforted her. Pepper snuggled into my warm fluffy chest. She quickly calmed down and fell asleep. I couldn't sleep knowing that Siren was hunting us. I would never let anything happen to my sister. She was all the family I had left after all. Siren was not going to take her away.
