I shook my head and looked away "I'm not." I couldn't be one. I didn't believe it. But.. There were a few times when older people have stared at me. I just thought they were being creepy until now. I looked at Raven and chewed on my lip. "I.." I stopped, what could I say in my defence? I could be one of them, those flithy creatures. I looked at the other girl, she seemed to be about my age but smaller. In both height and width. I sighed and walked away from her, going to go look in a mirror. My hair was turning a light blonde at the tips and my dyed black hair underneath was showing. My lips quirked up slightly, my hazel eyes staring back at me. I kept looking at myself, wondering why all of this happened in my life. I had such a great time in the states and now I'm somewhere in Canada. Great.

Raven said nothing and let me walk away from her, she moved away from where I had been standing and watched me silently. "Stay with us." she said in a hushed voice, calling for both my attention and for any reserves of courage I had to trust her. I eyed the black eyed girl.

"I might.. If you give me a good enough reason." I said. Why should I stay with them? Couldn't I just be alone?

Raven looked to the other young teens and seemed to be considering something before checking if the guards were still around, luckily for her we were alone. Once secure that no one would overhear she said; "Freedom."

I looked up "Are you serious? You can get us out of this hellhole?" My thoughts raced, we could leave this place?

Raven nodded and smiled "So will you stay and help us escape?" she continued to wait for my reply.
