Rowen skipped through the halls of the Jedi temple. Humming a song she'd heard a Rodian sing. She wasn't really paying attention to where she was going. So when she looked around to find her way back, she found herself completely lost.

She didn't really know what to do. She'd only been there for two days, and she was supposed to meet her master in ten minutes. To say Rowen was nervous was an understatement.

She had been in training to become a padawan since she was four. She was only seven now, and she'd be stuck with the same master for a long time.

And she did not want to be late to meet him. What kind of impression would that make on him?

Rowen looked around, she was at a hall that branched into four different ways. She looked at the ones on the left, then the ones on the right. Completely lost.

She was about to just give up and start crying when she heard a kids voice. She turned to the hall she came from, and found two people. A man with a goatee, and his padawan. He was maybe a year or two older than her, with brownish-red hair, and blue eyes.

The master stopped for a moment when he saw her. "Hello youngling. Are you lost?"

Rowen nodded. "I'm supposed to go and find my Master, but I don't know this place very well." She said, her moss green eyes staring at his deep brown ones.

"Who is your Master?" His padawan asked.

"Mace Windu." She replied. "Is he nice?"

"Yes, Master Windu is very kind. My padawan knows the temple very well. He can show you." The man said, and the boy nodded.

"Come on. I'm Obi-Wan by the way. Obi-Wan Kenobi." Obi-Wan said, as they walked away. "That's my Master, Qui-Gonn Jinn."

"I'm Rowen-Elizabeth Cave."

"That's a long name."

"You have a problem with my name?" She asked teasingly. She smiled triumphantly when he blushed slightly.

"No, it's a pretty name. It's just, Rowen-Elizabeth is a mouthful. Can I just call you Rowen?" He asked, running a hand through his hair nervously.

"Sure! Everyone does anyway."

"So, do you want to be friends?"

"Yes." She replied, when they finally found Master Windu. He was a tall man with dark skin, and no hair on his head. "That would be nice."

"Rowen-Elizabeth Cave?" Windu asked, and she nodded.

"Sorry I am late Master, I got lost. But Obi-Wan helped me." She told him, walking away.

Obi-Wan turned to leave, a little sad she didn't say goodbye, then he saw her wave, he waved back, and ran to his Master. Glad to have a new friend.

Obi-Wan followed his Master. Wondering why Qui-Gonn had dragged him to a lake on Naboo. As he walked, his thoughts went to Rowen.

The last time he'd seen her, was two years ago. He was twelve, and she was ten. They somehow ran into each other in the hall. She of course smiled and gave him a hug. Showing off her new lightsaber. It had a green blade, just a few shades lighter than her eyes.
