Left With No Choice

To many nights alone

You were left in despair

You used to confide in friends

But they're no longer there.

When you cried for help

They met you with an empty stare

So you tied the rope

And sent up a prayer

Still you hope your friends will be okay

Even though they left you saying

"Nobody cares."

Now you're all alone

Standing on a chair

When you step off

They'll be unaware

When they turned their back

It was more than you could bare

And they left you with no choice

So now you're hanging in midair.
