"Nephilim?" Rose exclaimed skeptically, unsure of what Seth had told her. She stood up and laughed. "Are you serious?"

"Yes, you are a Nephilim, a half-angel and half-human," Seth replied.

"I know what a Nephilim is, Seth. Is this some kind of joke?"

"You can laugh and doubt all you want, Rose, but you can't change the fact that you are a Nephilim."

Rose stopped laughing when she saw the sincerity in Seth's expression. Her ears started ringing again, accompanied by severe pain in her temple. She winced, looking at Seth who was still smiling at her.

"You need to take this seriously, Rose. Our lives are at stake," he said, his voice echoing in her mind.

"Did you say something?" Rose asked Seth.

"Yes, Rose, I am talking to you right now through your mind. This is one of your gifts," he paused, still smiling with closed lips, "the ability to communicate using your mind."

"My head hurts," Rose said, holding her temples with her hands.

"It's because you're not used to it, Rose," he reassured her. The pain slowly faded away from her head.

"Oh geez, Seth, please don't do that again. It hurt so bad," she pleaded.

Seth offered his hand to her. "Come, let's take a walk," he suggested. Rose took his hand and followed him.

"If I am a Nephilim, then one of my parents is a fallen angel, right?" she asked, looking at Seth as they walked towards the hill.

"Yes," Seth answered telepathically.

"Damn! Will you please just talk to me? I hate using telepathy..." She struggled to find the right word, her mouth hanging open.

"Telepathy," Seth said, using his gift and chuckled.

"Seth, I'm not comfortable with that. My head hurts so bad. Let's be normal, please?"

Seth nodded and smiled. "As you wish, young lady. But promise me not to interrupt me when I speak?"

Rose nodded nervously and rubbed her temples.

"Very well, then. I'll tell you everything I know, and I'll answer your questions as best I can," he told her as they continued walking towards the hill.

"Yes, please tell me everything so that I can understand," she said, walking beside him.

"First, what do you know about fallen angels, young lady?" Seth asked once they reached the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Rose gazed at the beautiful tree, still listening to Seth.

"A fallen angel is an angel that has been exiled or banished from heaven as a punishment for disobeying and rebelling against God. Like Lucifer or Satan?" she answered proudly.

"Correct," Seth said, his hand touching the stems of the tree. "And do you know Lucifer?" he asked.

"Lucifer is Satan? And Satan is also Lucifer?" she answered, unsure.

"Lucifer is the 'Bringer of Light.' He is the most beautiful of all angels and second to God in power. He was a Seraph, like Satan, the highest rank of angels. However, his pride and jealousy consumed him. He envied God whenever his fellow angels bowed down to Him and worshipped Him. After God created humans, He instructed the angels to bow down to mankind, especially to His son Jesus. But out of jealousy and pride, Lucifer refused, stating that he would never bow down to humans, not even to Jesus or His mother Mary. He managed to convince a third of the angels in Heaven to follow him. This led to a great battle, where angels fought against each other until Lucifer and his followers were cast out from heaven, falling like lightning. Many fell from heaven and roamed the Earth, mingling with people. Some even chose to become human and married the daughters of the Earth. However, most followed Lucifer, becoming demons and tempting men to disobey God," Seth explained, his face reflecting sadness.
