Xavier followed after me still on his phone. "Oh hey boss you got the email?" The stranger said finally looking up for his phone noticing me. His eyes turn a light lustful brown. "I did... By the way Ariel this is David... David!" He growls.

David suddenly looked at Xavier, "This is my sister..." He returned his gaze onto me. "And my mate." Suddenly David stared at him wide eyed. "B-but that's not possible you..."

"I was adopted, stop thinking about my mate like that or you're dead...." Xavier growled, placing a kiss on my forehead, glaring at David. He returned his gaze onto his phone, "David I need the White Trail files...." Xavier said.

"Sure thing..." David said getting up the stairs to his office.

"Finally... Ariel did you have to wear that?"

"What?"

"Did you have to wear that outfit? I don't want other males thinking about you like that..." He said wrapping his arms around my stomach.

"What do you mean?"

"Let's just say... In David's mind you were all over him..." He growled. He smashed his lips on mine biting my lip, I tasted the sweetest thing drip into my mouth. I moan, I felt my canines dig down and my vision becomes sharp.

"Ugh..." I groan. "I can't choose if I want to shift back.... I have to wait..." I groan.

"Still look pretty damn sexy...." Xavier said kissing my temple.

"I couldn't find them boss...." I could see David come back down the stairs. His eyes land on me again, "She's the same person idiot! Stop thinking about my mate!" Xavier growled slamming his hand down on the counter.

"Prove it...." David said glaring at him.

"Same clothes, she knows the packs secrets, she has the mind -link, did she just has a vampire side..." He growled, I smile showing my teeth.

"How does that tell me anything?"

'We have exactly 3,567 people in this pack.... There are 5 best fighters and 3 of them are girls... Your ass is about to be kicked if you keep staring at me...' I say through the link. I could hear Xavier's growl become loud.

"Go check again I need those folders!" He growled. David quickly ran back up the stairs, Xavier wrapped his arms around my stomach. "Ariel!" I hear familiar voice say.

"Xavier what are you doing?" Nicki asked suddenly. I smirked, 'Xavier you know what to do..' I remembered that Nicki hasn't seen my vampire side yet.

"Nothing..." He said simply.

"Who's the slut? Why is your scent all over her?" She said starting at a low growl. Xavier stares at her in shock, "Yo whore got a name?"

"Kat...." I say holding out my hand.

"Why the hell is there a vampire on our pack lands?"

"Look Nicki..."

"No! Don't 'look Nicki' me! Don't you dare say you slept with someone other than your mate..." She growled.

"Nicki it's fine I'm Ariel." I say trying not to laugh.

"Who are your best friends?"

"You and Joyce..."

"Aww thank goodness it is you! I thought I would have to beat up a bitch..."

"Aww you would beat up another girl for me?" I asked as she took a glass out of the cabinet.

"What? No... Xavier was the one who did it.."

"What did you just call me?" Xavier asked looking up from his phone.

"Nothing..." Xavier rolled his eyes. "Hey David find it yet?!" Xavier screamed.

"Possibly! Oh yeah I did!" Nicki dropped the glass in her hand.

"Oh Nicki are you ok?" I ask walking towards her, Xavier wrapped his arm around me pulling me back. "Hey is everything ok?" I heard David say, Nicki suddenly turned around to face David. I tried to walk closer to her but Xavier grabbed me again.

"Mine..." I heard David whisper, they hug each other before getting deep into a fiery kiss. 'Let's go into the bedroom shall we?' I heard Xavier say, I nod my head and try to walk forward. Xavier once again pulled me back to keep me from going anywhere. "Just freaking... Let me go!" I scream.

"Oh no, you aren't walking anywhere near the broken glass." I groan before dropping limp in his arms. I let him handle my weight, he sighs before picking me up and walking past the glass himself. Once he climbed up the stairs we entered our bedroom, he set me down on my feet.

He wrapped his hands around my waist. "Don't wear anything like this anywhere else besides pajamas or house clothes... I don't want other males looking at you..." He growled. I roll my eyes before going into the walk in closet, I decided to wear my jeans, my white one republic t-shirt, and my leather jacket. I set my boots to the side before noticing the necklace sitting on the shelf.

That's perfect, Xavier had gotten me this necklace for Christmas when I was 17... I'm surprised it's sill new looking. As I try to hook the other side my arms get tired, I huff before walking out with my boots in hand. I set them down next to the bed before trying the necklace again in the mirror.

I felt Xavier's hands take the necklace out of my hand and he clips it himself. "Damn..." He breathed out, I could see his eyes roam my body from the mirror. "Could you have possibly gotten even more sexier?" I smile before walking out the door and to his study.

I lay on the couch, after a while I started to become bored. I shift and let Carly take over, 'Ugh finally it's been forever!' She started rolling around on the couch. Xavier walked in holding a folder. He walked over to me before rubbing my head, Carly whined when he stopped. "I can't play with you all day...." He said sitting behind his desk.

Carly jumps off the couch and onto the chair across from his desk, he glanced at her before returning to his desk. Carly mocked him and did a professional dog guard pose. Xavier looked at me, rolling his eyes. Carly did the same, or whatever a dog does... "How long are you planning to do that?" Xavier asked annoyed.

'Someone's coming....' Carly says, Xavier stares at me in shock. Next thing I know David walks in his hair a mess. "Can I take the day off?" He asked out of breath.

Xavier rolls his eyes, "Yeah fine...." David quickly walked out running down the stairs. "How'd you do that?" I shift before laying across the chair.

"Do what?"

"Your wolf spoke through the link... That's not possible."

"No I didn't...."

"Your wolf said 'Someone's coming."

"Ok so what if I did? It's not like that's would be unusual to us..." I say shrugging. I get up and look around at the shelves, I find a rubix cube before completing it and putting it back on the shelf.

"Aww I was working on that..."

"Ha! I doubt you could finish it anyway...." I say simply.

"Are you questioning my intelligence, Ariel?"

"....Yes, yes I am." I say smirking, he smiles.
